Mairi Russell's Funeral Service is a 24 hour on call service. With arrangements made for and pre-paid so that families have the time to grieve and not worry about money issues. My first encounter with Mairi was to help my organised grandparents with there funeral arrangements etc. She was lovely, it was very informal and she was so friendly, obviously experienced in what she does, and has sensitivity in everything she says and does. My second encouter was when my darling cousin passed away earlier this year, Mairi was fantastic, she really was our families rock. She took care of all the arrangements, and we helped as much as possible. She was with us everyday and took care of my cousin very well. She has her own resting place in the local hospital which allows families to be with there loved ones. The service and arrangements were perfect the whole service was exactly what we all had wanted. We could never thank her enough for helping us to say goodbye to him properly. She has a fair few cars on her fleet, and they are all in pristine condition. I know this is a very awkward thing to review, but I honestly don't think Mairi gets the recognition that she deserves, she is one of the best funeral directors in the area, as is her work force. They are all so very smart and sensitive. I would most certainly recommend that if you want your loved one to be taken care of, Mairi is the lady to help. read more
