This is my fave place in Zurich to have brunch, Maison Blunt offers fantastic Middle Eastern fare, in a great atmosphere with good service. Maison Blunt is divided in two parts: a tearoom where you can sit in a souk-like setting and which is super photogenic and a more traditional restaurant set-up. Reservations are certainly needed, I came here on a weekday for brunch (had a day off work) and the place was bustling. We arrived around 11 am and this seems the sweet spot where you can still opt to eat from their breakfast/brunch menu as well as of their regular menu. My friend and I opted for the big mezze platter, each component on it was just amazing. Pair that with a bottle of prosecco and the pretty but laid back atmosphere of the tea-room and you feel like a queen! Certainly going back - highly recommended!!

Came here with my friend on a Monday morning for breakfast. It was calm & not busy (10am). The customer service was pretty cold and unfriendly. If you can handle that, go for their breakfast! It's delicious. I had the oriental style breakfast plate and especially the pickled carrots & the hummus were delicious. the avocado mousse was not too.. it's amazing that you get a variety of bread (flat bread, Swiss Zopf, croissants and whole grain bread), all you can eat. Just: for that price range I wish the service would be a little more friendly. And we asked for a chai and they charged chf 2.00 for a small pot of honey.

Unfortunately not amazed- very good that we can book online, however I had to look for somebody to show us the table- they didn't seem interested. Mezze teller correct but I would say that I have eaten better. The meat balls in Tagine very dry and hmm not really tasty. I will have another try, hoping it will be better.

Very nice place to brunch. Lots of vegan choices as well. Interesting and very tasty oriental snacks . All coffees available with soy milk. Definitely worth a try!

Delicious food and prompt service. A bit pricey for basic mint tea though. I'll definitely be back.

This place seems to be very popular with locals. We came for a very early dinner (around 4:30) and…read moresaw that most of the tables had reservation cards, so it was likely fully booked for the evening. We had the Tajine Kefta with fries and a small Mezze plate with Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Falafel, and Taboulé. The Kefta was moist with a loose texture. It was a little bit spicy and had generous amount of tomato sauce. The hummus and falafel were the weaker of the two mezze items. The hummus is a bit chunky (not super smooth or fluffy). The falafel came with Tzaziki (super creamy and very garlicy). They had good texture, but not super crunchy and crispy on the outside. The Baba Ganoush was really flavorful, deep, fresh, with good texture (smooth with some chunks of eggplant). The taboule was also really fresh tasting and moist. The service here was also notably great. Servers were super helpful and kind. Their bathroom was also quite nice.

Ok. We went there tonight. Read the reviews. Bluntly. You must not have many restaurants that can…read moreserve similar cuisine. I had the Kafka dish, basically lacking in spices and really with a tomato sauce would have been something a college student could have made for ten dollars for four people! My wife ordered vegetable couscous. Couscous( dry) with some sticks of carrots and zucchini. Keep in mind, we have to pay $34 CDN for EACH of these meals. If it wasn't for the beer and the feel to the place....1/2 a star would have been it. Ps. The bar was busy! Yes. I've downgraded to one star. The important part. My Kafka dish was not made fresh or had been sitting so long that it started to have the fat congeal. When I took the fancy cover off my dish when it arrived...a skin had formed over the whole dish and the edges had solid fat forming.

It's a fairly trendy spot, and it was packed on Friday night. Still the service was timely, the food was great, and the atmosphere lively. I had the "Hamshuka" which is minced beef and lamb, surrounded with hummus and a spicy sauce that gave it some kick. Excellent. If you're in this neighborhood, give Neni a shot, you won't regret it.

Wow good lord this food is fantastic…read more My friend Sahil and I came here on a weekday and were seated at the bar without a wait. We were lucky- the place was packed! It was really fun sitting at the bar- you could watch all the cooks do their thing and we were highly entertained. Sahil ordered the Sabich and I order a hummus trio with a side of falafel. It was more than enough food. The Sabich looked beautiful and whatever magic they did to the aubergine was fantaaaaastic. They were crunchy and wonderful. The falafel were also beautifully done and came with a side of wonderful sauce that I can't remember the name of now. I was also really impressed with the hummus trio. All three were very different and large portions. I kept picking a new favourite, it was hard to choose. We got beet, mango, and I think the regular. Fantastic flavours, really great waitstaff, and a freaking amazing experience overall. I'll be back!
