The bathroom was even smaller, I barely fit in the shower. The staff was extremely nice and breakfast was good. They do have a couple of laundry machines if needed/available. and there is not alot of choices to eat nearby, but there is a small neighborhood market just a short walk from the hotel over the bridge.

I highly recommend staying here for convenience, price, and friendly and clean service. The bus…read morestop is a few blocks from the hotel, and is a 20 minute ride to Venice. Other reviews complained about getting yelled at for checking-in past midnight; however, we had the opposite experience. The staff is young and was VERY friendly and kind about us checking in at 12:30am. I believe if you call in advance, they are happy to make arrangements for late arrivals. We also had TWO small dogs (puggle size) with us that were completely FREE to stay. The staff also parked our vehicle inside their small private gated driveway and moved it when needed. We will definitely stay here again. The beds weren't very comfortable but all the positives out-weigh the negatives. Thank you Hotel staff!! You guys were great! We enjoyed our free breakfast, strong WiFi (also free) and cappuccinos. Yum! When we come back to Venice, we will stay here again - unless there is a better deal. ;)

The castle is absolutely gorgeous! This is a must-do in the area. The medieval meal was a lot of fun, what I can remember. They had entertainment to include fire breathers. Unless, that is if the workers decide to go on strike for the day. Then you'd better have a backup plan. This station has a bookstore and a small store where you can buy lottery tickets, cards, small trinkets, and snacks. There's also a combination eatery with a sandwich shop and a McDonalds inside. One word of warning.... Many of the stations charge for you to enter the bathroom. This one is .50euro. Others are 1euro. You can buy your tickets ahead of time at the little convenient stores around town or at the machines at the station. I prefer the station machines because they have English and are less confusing. Taking trains throughout Italy is a breeze and if you know what you are doing it's pretty cheap. So, get on a train and go see something interesting.
