Morrison's in the Killingworth Centre is a good-sized Supermarket offering every day groceries plus…read moremagazines, books, clothes and some Electronics and entertainment items. There is a good Deli here too, with a wide variety of take away meals, cheeses, meats and an in-house bakery offering freshly baked bread and delicious cakes. Morrison's also has a great selection of "free from" foods with gluten, dairy and wheat free products. The staff are friendly, there is a good in-house Café to eat at, and the store supports the local community well through a notice board and fund raising projects. The only thing stopping me giving this Morrison's 5 stars is the fact that I've regularly found it lacking in stock. Every day items often seem to be out of stock and not replenished quickly. That apart, it's my local Supermarket of choice and rarely disappoints.

There is always a good variety of all products - a good choice of brands with a range of prices to suit every budget. They also have a very good clothing section that often has a sale on. The atmosphere in Tesco is always bustling, even at 3 in the morning near Christmas and New Year. Although most of the staff are very friendly and will drop everything to help you look for a product but some of the staff that work on the electrical counter are a little to be desired. They are very unwilling to negotiate a refund/exchange even when you bring the product back within a week brand new!

Loads of extras in this store unlike small Tesco stores. The food variety is not as big as it should be though, electricals are quite expensive and can be got cheaper elsewhere.

This is a really small Asda but it's conveniently located on the main street and it's attached to a…read moregarage. It's good for grabbing a few bits and pieces that you have forgotten or to compliment your Aldi shop next door but it isn't great for range of products or stock. Plus, staff here are minimally helpful and completely indifferent. It isn't too expensive compared to other supermarkets but it isn't a very good place to do a substantial food shop. Also, remember kids, small convenience stores are more expensive than their big brothers (but not always so check!). Convenience is a luxury!

They sometimes have erratic opening hours though, which is why I only decided to give it 3 stars. The last thing you need when desperate for something at 10pm is an off-license which is closed when it should be open.
