Stay away. The barbers are rude , expensive , and know like 1 hair cut. On top of that , the barbers will try and sell you rebranded products that they make the entire time your there. Very uncomfortable. Plenty of great barbers in the area. Would give 1 star if I could . read more

My first time there and it was Too expensive! The guy was always on his phone. I don't think they washed their hands. Got charged over $90 for a fade and four cornrows. The price was not justifiable as my hair was just washed and detangled at another salon. Wouldn't recommend. read more

This place gave me ringworm. Avoid it at all costs! The barber who cut my hair and beard was on the phone the entire time he was cutting my hair and beard as well. It was a terrible experience overall. The lack of sanitary conditions alone should be all u need to know to not do business with this place. I am a business man, who meets with clients regularly so my appearance is important. Having contracted a ringworm rash from this filthy shop makes me look and feel like a dirtbag. Very nice barbershop. Barber Dan is simply awesome. Dan did a very amazing job with my son. Excellent quality cuts, very flexible with scheduling, and have a gentle touch with care for cutting hair. I also like how he was able to build a great rapport with my son during each visit. This is an awesome talent to have, especially considering it can be challenging to work with children or picky pre-tweens. Literally, my son is very happy to have him cut his hair oppose to me. I will hands down recommend Dan to everyone :). I can totally agree with the previous review regarding his service. My son was more than thankful for having him cut his hair as well as his family. worst haircut ever!! They charged $30 for a simple cut and it came out terrible!! Such a disappointment!!!

I went there today with my family and my Grandson for his 1st haircut got there at 1 o'clock person we spoke to says it would be half an hour we sat and waited 55 minutes and not one person came up to us and asked if we needed any help later someone came over and locks the door and says we're closed and no one is available to cut his hair and are closing in 5 minutes. This review is for the EAST HAVEN location. I called them to schedule an appt for my 13 year old son. Justin answered the phone. Now Jaiden is right about at that age where I'm letting him go off a little on his own, so us living right down the street, I was nervous about sending him off. With that being said, when I spoke to justin, I asked a million questions, asked him if he would be ok to walk in alone and asked if he could take care of the payment, take (a predetermined amount) the tip and return the change. I decided to go along with Jaiden to make sure he'd be ok. Justin knew who we were when we walked in (1st points in my book). He greeted us and asked us to hang tight as he was finishing up another cut-we did. The only thing that was kind of annoying was my son was approached by 2 different barbers who seemingly were attempting to poach the appointment. I get it, these guys prob rent chairs and are looking to expand their clientele but it makes it a bit uncomfortable. Especially since the 1st looked PEIVED and walked away when we told him we had an appt with Justin and THE OTHER actually asked my son to hang out until he got back (maybe on his way out to lunch) like why would we wait for you. We don't know you man! Any who, Justin was awesome! He claimed Jaiden as his client and his hair cut was neat and on point! Since then, I just send jay with some cash and call Justin ahead to give him a heads up! He always takes care of him and fits him in no matter what. Good job! I was there on Sunday the 18th around 1 PM, with my son (who's one years old), my wife, mom, and father-in-law. We were there to get my son his very first haircut, as we were going to go to see Santa (also for the very first time), and wanted him to look good for his pictures. Asked how long of a wait, and one barber checked with the owner, came back and said about a half hour. We decided to wait. A half hour became 40 mins, then 45, then an hour. It was then 2 PM and they closed the shop (went accepting any more walk-ins). We again asked how much longer, only to be told they didn't know and the barber we were waiting for (that we asked in the beginning) said he couldn't stay to cut my son's hair. The owner asked the other barbers, none of which were willing to take my son. It is very unprofessional as an owner to tell a potential customer a time frame for a service to be rendered, made to wait way more than said time frame, then tell the potential customer you can't help them at all. That's some bullshit. So instead of being a client I am now going to tell anyone who will listen to never frequent this shop, unless they want their time completely wasted. If I did this to a customer I would expect to no longer be in business. read more
