I will never use Major League Plumbing under any circumstances, as they provided inadequate Plumbing service at my home. In September 2023, I purchased an Irrigation System from Chesapeake Irrigation and Lighting and was told that Major League Plumbing was the Plumbing company (that would be running the plumbing line and) placing a Submeter in my home. I was told by Major League Plumbing that they were waiting for a part to come in before they could install the plumbing lines for the Submeter. The part finally arrived in May 2024, and I thought that the Submeter was installed; however, I was unaware that Major League Plumbing was supposed to contact WSSC (my water company), so WSSC could inspect their work and, upon a successful inspection, WSSC would connect the Submeter and irrigation wire and connect the Submeter. From May to November 2024, I received two excessively high-water bills because the (submeter/irrigation line) was not properly placed to separate the water running from the inside of the house from the water usage of the irrigation system. In October 2024, WSSC informed me that Major League Plumbing never contacted them at all, and Major League Plumbing needed to do some additional work before I could pass their inspection. The WSSC inspector informed me that the irrigation line was not run from outside to inside the house to separate the indoor water usage from the irrigation and outside water lines and I would need a water line that runs horizontally to the Submeter from the outside water lines. The WSSC inspector also noted that Major League Plumbing needed to provide a backflow Test Report. In November 2024, when Major League Plumbing addressed the issues that failed the previous inspection, I informed them what the WSSC inspector suggested concerning the water line that runs horizontally to the Submeter but was told that they do not do that type of work. I contacted an outside plumber to install the connection line, and in December 2024, WSSC passed the inspection but explained that the outside plumber did not install the connection line properly. When WSSC personnel attempted to complete their part of installing the Submeter, the "Yoke" was too wide apart. My wife called and tried to explain that the "yoke" was too far apart, but the manager stressed that this could have happened because someone else was working on the Submeter. The lackluster attitude of being responsible for their actions was totally unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone to use them at all. read more

We had an appointment to rough in on existing 1/2 inch line which the owner George knew as he has been here and seen the rough in his guy Joe comes on the job and looks at it and says it has to be changed to 3/4 inch for a hot water heater and can't be done for 150 dollars he calls the owner no answer this is about 8:40 so we tell him to forget it. I text owner and his response was this job has been nothing but problems and to get someone else we've paid him over $ 9,000 dollars even his employee stated he knew what was here and should have explained this the owners attitude is terrible I told him I was going to post on this and back charge him as he's not finished on his proposal don't hire this guy !! read more

Very pleased with major league plumbing from setting the appointment, to assessment and replacement of our water heater. Will was thorough and very pleasant to deal with. He replaced our 22 year old water heater in a matter of hours, including draining and removing the old one and obtaining and hooking up the new one. He was great at explaining his plan and execution. Recently just had a backed up sink that was causing our dishwasher to leak (this has happened to us a few times before.). And when this "Backup issue" happened again. It was a cause of concern for us. I was also a young woman home alone while a random person works on my sink. Which, of course, did cause some anxiety for me. In the past, (from other companies,) we have had a few questionable plumbers from other companies in our area come to fix it. These plumbers kind of made me feel little uncomfortable, and the sink problem just kept coming back! However, this time was completely different! The plumber, (Tucker) was amazing and super respectful of me and my home!!! I had absolutely no qualms with him being in my house! Tucker looked at EVERYTHING!! And, After he was done, He explained to me (in a way I would understand lol!) what exactly was going on. And he even gave me a ton of tips to make sure that it didn't happen again! And if the problem arises again. I will 1000% call this company, and I will ask for Tucker personally! Trust me, use this company, I Would 100% recommend it!!!!! read more

George and his team are AMAZING. I had a sump pump fail at 10:00am with rain falling. After trying to resolve it myself, I tried to get a 24/7 team in to take care of the problem before flooding would be begin. Couldn't get a response. Called George at 6:00am and he picked up, understood the situation, and had a tech out within 2 hours. Most importantly, I wasn't home to watch their work. Their price was better than I expected and the work was completed quick. I NEVER write reviews. But the response and ethics of the Major League Plumbing was worth the time. Our sump pump went up right when we were about to leave the country on vacation. I called Major League and they were able to send a technician same day. He went right under the house and within 20 minutes came out and the pump had been replaced. He was so polite and respectful and the price was fair. My old kitchen faucet had a problem and only the sprayer was working. I started to install a new faucet and quickly realized it was more than I wanted to take on. I spoke to George at Major League Plumbing and he was able to make it out the same day. He was courteous, pleasant and very professional and had the new faucet and valves installed in no time. If I could give a six-star review, I would! George is amazing! For quite a while, I had been hoping to find a good plumber to take care of various jobs -- some quite challenging -- that I felt would be better handled by a professional. And then I saw a recommendation from a credible source to try Major League for plumbing services. George was very patient with me through the estimation and parts identification processes. And his pricing was very reasonable. But to watch it all be taken care of very efficiently and with much attention to detail in one day was a real pleasure! I know my house appreciates it! I will definitely utilize Major League for all of my future plumbing needs. (I hope that George is able to find another good plumber or two to help him keep up with what I am sure will be growing demand for his company's services.) read more

I was impressed by both the quality of his work and his honesty. He gave me a choice of a higher priced remedy or lower priced remedy for my drain problem and I asked what he would recommend and he recommended the lower priced remedy, which worked out great.
