I'm not going to get into any dirty details (in order to protect my own interests), but the…read moreexperience I had with this agency was anything but the "symbol of superior service" (Farmers' own marketing slogan). Over a four month period, my mother and I dealt with this agency concerning a life insurance claim, and I can whole-heartedly not recommend purchasing a policy from this agency. THIS REVIEW IS STRICTLY MY PERSONAL OPINION BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE. This agency: 1. Did not provide professional communication, which (for us) included losing contact information, not responding to voicemails, and promising follow-up calls yet never furnishing them in a timely matter. 2. Had absolutely no structurally private office space. An open ceiling structure results in employees quietly listening to conversations while meeting with your agent (At the time, the office was located at 517 W 5th St). In fact, when leaving the office on one occasion, we were stared at by three employees due to the "heated" tone of the conversation... 3. Did not go to bat for us. Only after contacting our State Commissioner did we see any progressive results. 4. Provided false information concerning our claim on several occasions. This conclusion is drawn from conducting our own investigations regarding pending document requests and other "delays" that were holding up our claim. I understand that this agency is not directly involved in the claims process (that office is located on Mercer Island in Seattle, WA), but based on our experience of dealing with this branch of the Farmers Insurance Company, I still cannot recommend this individual agency. As one would expect, I also subsequently cancelled my automobile insurance with this agency. As I do with all postings regarding my experience with Farmers, I like to provide tips on dealing with the company or any unprofessional insurance company for that matter. Pointers for Future Farmers Fighters: 1.Keep pressure on your agent(s), even if they are a complete waste of your time. 2. CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMMISSIONER. The commissioner strikes fear in the hearts of insurance companies, and we saw the relatively quick results once we contacted our state agency. 3. Don't let them get away with disrespecting you. Hold the company and your agents accountable. Report them to consumer advocacy groups (BBB, Consumer Reports, etc.) and/or tell your story on websites such as this one! 4. Don't settle or back down. Our loved one, as a paying consumer, entrusted Farmers to hold up their side of the agreement. Four months and numerous sleepless nights later, they finally did, but only after we continued to press the matter-at-hand.

I can't say enough good things about Fred Soto and his agency. I have been a customer for a few…read moreyears now and can say without a doubt that he is the most engaged insurance agent I've done business with. Fred has called me numerous times to review my insurance needs, always looking for the best possible rates and coverage. Most importantly he is a true professional. During the last big hail storm, all I had to do was make a phone call and his agency started to process my claim. I had a claims representative call me the same day and within a few more days was issued a check for repairs. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to have someone working to protect the interests of me and my family. I was with another insurance agency for much longer and never once received a personal phone call from my agent. I met him once in all those years but mostly dealt with his front office person. Fred is committed to excellence and I think he does a great job of servicing the Pueblo community. I would highly recommend.

How would any potential customer learn about their products/offerings, fee schedule, hours, location etc. The "website" in the Yelp listing is NOT a bank website - the URL does take you to a page that HIGHLY resembles a fraudulent site. In other words, there is no web presence for this bank that I can find and that makes me HIGHLY suspicious! I would say this is perhaps a Yelp issue but my independent research found nothing online, regarding this bank. Is it FDIC insured? Who knows? I'm doubtful this is a real bank.
