Brand new to the area and our home inspector referred us to them. From my first call with Luke, his on time professional assessment and estimate, I knew this was the right company. I have never had something so major go so right! He sent Logan to do the nearly impossible task of removing a 50 year old sink - one that was especially difficult due to the decades of glue and caulking applied. I would have ripped out and tossed it out the door, but Logan painstakingly unstuck the beast with patience I have never seen in my old life. He then meticulously detailed the tiles and installed the new sink and it is gorgeous! But that's not all! He also installed a new toilet upstairs with the same patience and care. These guys are amazing. We had several issues with our house and they came out to install a regulator, a water shut off valve, an outside water spigot, a new valve in the bathroom and got my new faucet for the bathtub. Henry, Logan and Connor helped install everything. Even Luke, the manager did some research on this part on the bathtub that it originally came with but because it was so complicated and put in incorrectly from the builder we decided to get a new faucet system. My rating system reserves 5 star reviews for an exceptional experience, this is what i had with Major Plumbing. The price was very reasonable, and the whole experience was very professional. i broke a water main pipe (ugh) (in BVS) and after trying to fix it with big box solutions i decided to call a plumber for back up. i called at 8:15 am, and got a 1 pm appointment. What stood out was their professionalism through the whole process. Describing the issue to the guy on the phone, he took the information i shared to make sure his plumber had the right parts on truck. I asked for a typical price range, his response was very reasonable. he was understandably hesitant to give a price without his plumber actually assessing the problem. I received two texts confirming my appointment with the name of the plumber and his license number. i called the office a couple of times and we communicated via phone and text. I requested an evaluation of my water pressure and to install a regulator to decrease if necessary. The team that arrived were very knowledgeable, were able to test my water pressure which was indeed much higher than normal. They explained that the higher pressure was needed for my fire suppression system, but a regulator could be installed for the rest of my house to bring it into normal range. They were able to complete the work within the agreed time frame and they professionally wrapped all outside plumbing against freezing temperatures. The cost was more than I expected, but it will save me in future repairs and water usage so well worth it in the end. I have already scheduled another appointment with them to problem solve an unrelated issue. I highly recommend. read more
