I had the beef tail, which was one of the most delicious oxtail stews I've ever had. Full of depth and flavor, the oxtail sits in a delectable gravy which you'll be able to sop up with some bread. My other half had the veal sirloin, but it was a bit too gamey for him. Reservations are highly recommended. Keep in mind that many places in Spain close after lunch and reopen for dinner around 8pm, so make that reservation earlier in the day if you plan on having dinner. The service was fantastic. The man working there was very nice. Despite his (unnecessary) apologies for about his English skills, he got us everything we wanted and kindly. I saw that he was great with other customers, including kids, too. He gave the place a great vibe. The food was pretty solid, too. The pizza was tasty and had a perfect crust. They had several beers on tap. And the after dinner coffee wasn't bad, either. And, at least compared to the places closer to tourist havens, the prices were pretty reasonable. I left pretty happy that Atenea was the place I happened upon when I was getting hungry. It seems like a great place for a lot.
