The people there were excellent in helping us through the planning and execution of her wishes. Their prices were open and fair. They handled picking her body up at our home quickly and kept it until cremation. The only thing I was surprised about was the newspaper obituary costs. This is not a slam on Simply Cremations but the papers. I wanted 4 newspapers in WI and MI. They want to collest $350 per paper because of the costs charged by papers to print the obit. I cancelled 2 of them and went with papers more people would know her. It ended up that one was $35 and the other $500. After the final accounting, SC sent me a refund check. If I need to I would definately return to Simply Cremation. Fair, honest, and simple.

The integrated sound system allowed for the playing of music at specified times during the memorial service as well as a wireless microphone for those who wanted to say something to remember her. While this is the kind of place that you don't want to even think about visiting, everything was handled with professionalism and care, and that's essential.

The people at Blaney took their time, were very patient, and explained everything. They were there whenever we needed them, came to the memorial service, and had a grief counsellor call later. It's never fun, but if you need to go to a funeral home, this one can make it less painful and stressful.

I had called Nicolet to get some information and then scheduled an appointment to be certain we would be able to meet with the original person I had gotten a verbal quote from. My mother does not drive and we needed to make arrangements to have someone stay with my father while we were out at the meeting. When we arrived, we were shuffled to someone other than the person I had made the appointment with because she had a prospect walk-in who was ready to close a sale. We have since purchased an indoor crypt with another facility who handled us with the dignity and respect we anticipated and deserved.
