There is a great Klimt here which has notes in it for the final work. lots of Hoffman items. Cabinet after cabinet of lovely things. The building itself is gorgeous. Don't miss the ceilings. They are works of art. Also see the stained glass windows on the stairs!!!! The furniture on the far side. - Biedermeier I think, was a real treat. The gift shop is fun and there's a cafe which is very aesthetic.

Staff are very well informed and friendly too. If, like me you are without a car then this is one of the easier Bauhaus's to get to. ie no two changes by bus etc. Just go to the end of the U4 at Hütteldorf and follow the road beside the station (the way the train went) and in 3 or 4 minutes you will arrive!
