The staff there are so personable and accommodating. Super experience with great people.​

They made a great weekend for us. We were tardy to get a boat rental for Saturday of the July 4 weekend. But Johnny and Bill had a pontoon boat for our needs. We much enjoyed the boat and Wautaga Lake. I thought the rental for the day inexpensive. Bill helped us load and explained how the boat worked. We headed straight across the lake to a cove at the right, anchored and swam. Then we traveled down lake to the bridge, the uplake to the next bridge. The marina has beer and snacks and Sweet T's to go sandwiches, etc. Not a lux spot, but super friendly. I look forward to it when we visit East Tennessee again. read more

The reservation was easy. The payment for the remainder balance took approximately 20 - 30 minutes as the employee was not computer savvy. The owner would not reimburse due to a storm that drenched us and stormy weather predicted to continue for two more hours after we boated for only two hours. The boardwalk was slimy with wet algae and caused two in our party to slip and one to fall into the water, badly bruising a leg against the boardwalk. All belongings fell into the water, phone, wallet, towels and clothing. A dangerous situation which could have drowned the person if they were knocked unconscious as no one witnessed the incident. Bruise has healed, one merrill sandal forever lost. read more
