Unfortunately I have an extremely negative review for Malo Products and wish to warn everybody to stay well clear of them. Having seen good reviews for them we decided to look at purchasing a kitchen from them. I sent James a design of the kitchen we had done and he priced up the kitchen for us. We then sent a deposit for nearly £3000 after which they were going to come and do a site visit to finalise design etc. After sending the deposit we did not hear anything from Malo for a significant amount of time, even after us sending several emails asking what was going on. Then due to personal matters along with our ever growing lack of confidence with Malo we decided not to go ahead with our kitchen. We asked for our deposit back . . . but now some 5 months later we are still waiting. They have not even had the decency to email/call us to explain why they won't return our money. They are nothing but thieves, and gutless thieves at that. Just ignoring us think are pleads to return our money will just stop. Hi All, I am new here however we have been working our way through a new house build and have decided to put up good and bad words for the companies that have either let us down or helped us. One of the first ones to mention would be Malo Products, we found there site http://www.maloproducts.co.uk after we were told by a passer bye in John Lewis that we could purchase the same kitchen from Malo at half the price of John Lewis, so we contacted Malo sent them our room sizes and had a 3d design and quotation sent to us. Unfortunately they were not half the price as the man had said however they were around £6,500 less than we had been quoted by John Lewis. We eventually purchased our kitchen from Malo and have to say we are delighted with our kitchen. I would like to say that I wish James, Gordon, Donny and everyone else at Malo all the best for the future and If my post here helps then you are very welcome. My budget was forcing me to compromise on my kitchen as I could not find it locally at an affordable price, I had seen a Schuller kitchen from germany and really didn't want to compromise. A friend had bought a kitchen sink on an Internet and recalled that they also offered a Schuller kitchen design service. I found the site and completed a form. A few days later a very friendly Scotsman called me up and we had a chat about what I wanted. he came back with an initial design and after several changes which he was very patient about I got a plan and quote. I saved a huge amount but was very nervous about placing such a big order on line so i decided to take the plunge and travelled to Scotland to see the product, it was well worth it. Never writen a review online beofre however I promised James at Malo that should we be happy with our new kitchen I would go online and place a review. At the begining of November I ordered a new german style handle less kitchen from Malo kitchens, Preston. To be honest I did shop around and could have purchased other kitchens from other showrooms and large stores however Malo told me about their kitchens and the quality that they offered, again I looked around and eventually decided to go with James. I would like to thank him and the installation team, the tiling is amazing and really sets my room alight. The service was great, the design was exactly what I was looking for and the price was fair for the kitchen I purchased. Thank you for the service from start to end, I contacted Malo kitchens in Preston to discuss a new kitchen project we had been working on for over 6 months, Gordon at Malo worked through the planning and made around 30 alternative plans, amending everything to meet our expectations. We eventually ordered our kitchen via Malo however we did find the the price for work surfaces slightly expensive and in the end purchased these from another on line company that I will also review and highly recommend. Would just like to say the time is 04:49am and my installers have not long completed the installation of our new malo kitchen (3 hours or so) , it is really beautiful and I am over the moon. We worked on our kitchen design for so many months and to see it now in the flesh is oohh great. I would like to thank malo for the hard work and effort that has been put in to our new kitchen, I was nervous due to the design change from our old kitchen but I am so amazed in my new kitchen, I will write a more accurate review after we make dinner tomorrow. We ordered and paid for our kitchen in April, it arrived with parts and an appliance missing. After months of broken promises and numerous calls and emails, the majority of which were unanswered we have had to order the parts through another supplier and obviously pay for them again. I would avoid them at all costs, even the mereway rep told me I was not the first customer to call with a similar tale. Unfortunately I have had to give them 1 star they do not deserve any, there is not a suitable category absolutely appalling!! read more

i ordered a sink from MALO kitchens and paid straight away through paypal. 3wks later no sink had arrived. After only getting through to the switchboard and ringing i kid you not over 20 times i finally got through by saying i wanted a new kitchen supplied using a false name. i then was told that my sink is not in stock and i am awaiting a full refund i would not wish malo kitchens on my worst enemy all i can say is STAY AWAY............ read more

The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations say that pretending to be a consumer and giving yourself a positive review is 'an unfair commercial practice'. This is a criminal offence and proprietors are potentially liable for an unlimited fine and a prison sentence of two years. read more
