After 38 months, I was finally approved for disability, and I truly don't think I could have made…read moreit through the process without Fields Law Firm. They stayed on top of every detail, kept in regular contact with me, never missed a deadline, and fought hard for me every step of the way. What stood out most was how supported I felt throughout such a long and exhausting process. When I felt discouraged and ready to give up, they kept going for me. I highly recommend Fields Law Firm to anyone navigating a disability claim. Their professionalism, persistence, and compassion made all the difference.

I contacted Fields Law regarding a potential Hartford LTD/ERISA disability appeal. Before signing a…read morerepresentation agreement, I asked for written clarification about practical issues involving LTD, SSDI, unemployment benefits, possible return-to-work decisions, closed-period/back-benefits strategy, litigation obligations, and possible fee exposure. After a follow-up phone call with a firm representative, I decided not to proceed. In my opinion, the tone of the call came across as dismissive, condescending, impatient, and unnecessarily defensive. One specific concern was that my final clarification questions were characterized on the call as "another 20 questions," even though my understanding was that I had sent a focused list of approximately 10 practical questions before signing. That characterization felt exaggerated and dismissive to me. I also did not feel comfortable being encouraged to sign the representation agreement first and discuss certain concerns afterward. For me, that was a major red flag. Before signing any legal agreement involving sensitive medical records, disability benefits, SSDI, unemployment, and possible litigation, I need clear written answers and a communication style that feels respectful and aligned. I did not sign the agreement and chose to seek other counsel.

Very commonly miss deadlines and do not care to remember any details about your case. The moment the retainer money is sent, their job is done. Honestly, you could hire a first year law student and they would have more knowledge and do a better job than Haugen and his team.

Mike Lammers is the worst lawyer you could hire in the state. Don't believe whatever fake positive…read morereviews he is getting. I won my case and still do not recommend him. The verbal abuse this man put me through when he was working for me was something I've never experienced before. I started recording our phone calls because he started threatening dropping me as a client because he wanted more money from me even though that was not in our contract and he ended up walking away with 6 figures because we won. No thanks to him. I had never needed a lawyer before, this was for an injury, I was suing the place I got injured at. Sadly it was so clear Mike only cares about how much money he is getting or how much money is being spent. He will never care about you, will never ask how u are, what he can do to make things easier, act like he is the working for you and on your team never happened ever for me. But I did need years of therapy after working with this man and want to save anyone especially female from having a similar experience with this A** hole. The fact he won my case (it was an open shut case, so he rly gets no credit and actually cause me to not get more money which I could of definitely used and needed for future medical expenses. But since he is a moron, he coerced me into setttling. Someone who won a lot of money and is still coming to warn you about this man, should tell you all you need to know. Wish I could upload a recording of one of our meetings so people can see the real Mike Lammers.

While not being able to take my case, as his practice is limited to mainly Lemon law cases, he nonetheless spent 40 minutes speaking with me, regarding my case & options. This... with no compensation whatsoever! Who/what attorney does this? An attorney with empathy, integrity, morals & concern for others, that's who! A good man! Now... this really put a dent in my belief, and that of many others... that most attorneys ride along on the underbelly of a fungus, that inhabits the bottom of slime-dwelling creatures! A welcome breath of fresh air-- a refreshing belief in the remaining good in humanity. If you're looking for someone to represent you with intelligence, loyalty and empathy, look no further than this exceptional law firm! I am honored to wholeheartedly recommend them, as the best of the best!

He stumbled his way through my worker's compensation case. This is the best example of the exemplary and compassionate legal representation I received: When I asked about the months' worth of wages I had lost, he said in essence that I was SOL. He would not pursue my lost wages because there was not enough cash in it for him.
