I had two events catered last weekend, a dinner and brunch. I had used Mama Theresa's on several occasions before and had always been very satisfied. This time however the experience was disappointing. The dinner buffet for 40 to 50 people arrived without the sterno racks and heaters. Upon commenting on this I was told it had been my responsibility to make sure they were on the order. So much for professional advice when using this caterer. In addition, the salads had been forgotten and arrived over an hour later. As we had been rushing to eat before our food got cold we had no need for them anymore. When the brunch arrived two days later we still had a bad taste in our mouth about our dinner experience. It seems there has been a change in ownership; we were not dealing with the same principal we were dealing with on previous occasions and we did not receive the attention we were accustomed to. We will try a different caterer for future events. read more

Though just a little out of the way for me to make stops on a regular basis, when I am in the New Windsor area I make it a point to stop in here. Pizza slices with eggplant, roasted peppers, spinach, tomatoes, ziti, chicken, white, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, you name it, they have it. Balsamic glaze? Sure! Chicken Bacon Ranch? You bet! And their regular and Sicilian slices are great too. Honestly, the pizza is so good here I haven't had anything else, but their sandwiches and wraps look mighty fine, as do the standard pasta dishes. The staff is always friendly and more than ready to tell you about the various pizzas they have on display. Just a great place that I can easily recommend! read more

Just the items we were looking for...and well made! We were in town to visit my mom who is 86. She wanted Chicken Marsala and Stuffed Clams. After reading ALOT of online menus, after abandoning our past favorite restaurant (owner retired, chef left taking the good food with him) we decided to give Mama Theresa's a twirl of the spaghetti. This place is in a strip mall and is wheelchair accessible (a plus for my mom). We walked down a corridor with the take out on one side and some tables on the other which opened into a medium sized dining room. I will admit, the place could use some fresh decor, but the food was tasty and well prepared. My mom had the above described dishes while the other 3 of us had Italian sausage, grilled chicken anf chicken cutlet sandwiches, each with yummy ingredients. Our server was awesome, attentive and friendly. We are able to get the full menu for lunch, which is a plus for my mom. We'll be back to sample more on our next trip. Mangia!! read more

We used to come for lunch often but by the time we arrived back at the office (a 5-minute ride) our pizza is cold. We've eaten there a couple of times and experienced the same lukewarm slices right out of the oven. Maybe your oven temperature should be adjusted? Excellent pizza though.. read more

Best cream of broccoli soup I ever had!! So creamy and tasty I could eat it every day. Their sandwiches are always great here too no matter what time of the day the bread is always soft. I used to go to this pizza place years ago for pizza, so we thought it close to home let's try it again. My family (10)went tonight for a birthday dinner. It was one of the worse meals we all ate! We started out with clams oreganato which was all breading and clams were not good. Then came all our individual meals: eggplant parmigiana (3 order) awful , chicken Marsala (all sugar), and rice balls were terrible as well. Unfortunately, we came in hungry and left hungry. It's unfortunate that a manager did not address the family to even give an explanation. This led us to this unfortunate review which is completely against my thoughts as I am against this type of drama. I will say the only positive was the waitress which was pleasant, accommodating, and on point with all our requests. We will never be going back to this establishment that is selling itself as an Italian restaurant! PS: Hold off on the bread crumbs for goodness sakes, everything doesn't taste or look better with it!!!! read more

Went for dinner party, not one thing that I ordered was consumable. Had to leave in the middle of my dinner, got sick from the clams oreganato. The food in this restaurant wasn't at all good. A great slice and mix of entrees and pizza. Awesome catering, always a staple, like their sister store the deli across the way you just can't go wrong. I love the Eggplant Napolean pie it's one of my favorites, ever. They have it by the slice and its hard not to eat 3! Too much, anyway you go there you won't go wrong. I've gotten take-out from here a few times and my husband stops in occasionally for a slice during during work and the food is always great. I decided to stop in to eat lunch with my 2 toddlers while we were out, which can often be a scary endeavor. I ordered 2 slices for the kids and a grilled chicken salad for myself, the food was excellent!! But what really made our lunch out enjoyable, was the staff. Every employee was extremely helpful and friendly. They engaged with the kids and went out of their way to make it a 'kid-friendly' experience. Even a few employees who didn't directly wait on us, smiled, said hello to the kids and asked how everything was going. Excellent Italian fare in this unassuming little strip mall pizza place. Their pizza was excellent and we had a shrimp parmigiana hero, which was delicious! Their house brand sodas were a nice original touch, which my family enjoyed. The staff was friendly, the food was served quickly and hot - and all in all, we had a nice little family time together in their little dining room in the back. Better pizza than most of the other options in the area but the prices on appetizers and dinners is a little high. They offer delivery and it doesn't take that long, even on the weekends. Two times ago we ordered they stopped delivering an hour before they closed. We couldn't find anyone else to deliver so we picked it up. Everyone was so busy cleaning or chatting and I had to wait while one person took care of getting my order together even though there were at least 5 other people there. I always get a slice of pizza after I get my nails done next door and they always have so many different options to order by the slice! People must have low expectations when it comes to good pizza. Had pizza there last evening. Nothing at all special about this pizza. The crust was plain as anything with some sauce and cheese. The food here is absolutely delicious. I have never had their pizza, but they have one of the best cheese steaks in the area. Other favorites are the ricotta, mozzarella, and spinach Stromboli and the mozzarella and tomato pannini. The place is a little pricey and the delivery times can be too slow, but the quality of food almost makes up for it. read more

When I moved into the area, this was the place that was recommended by many of the people. Since I have been here over a year, this is my go to place not just for pizza, however also for a nice quick romantic dinner with my wife. The quality of the food is unmatched and you can tell the ingredients they use are top notch. Every time I go in, I never leave unhappy. The specialty pizzas are amazing, which is what you expect, however their original pizzas, the grandmothers pizza, the Neapolitan pizza are all amazing and they are simple ingredients. If you do not want pizza, the Christine's Pasta or Penne with Chicken will delight your taste buds. The house balsamic dressing is absolutely delicious, so if you get a pasta dish make sure you request that. I love to come in here and order from these guys because I know what i will get every time and every person that has had their food, has said the same. so they must have cut down on the portion size since the last time i was here. I normally can't finish my meal but this time i could. It was a busy night but it took such a long time to get our food. it took almost 30 mins to get our garlic knots and salads. then it was 45 mins since we got our main dish. the waitress was really bad. she kept forgetting to get our drinks and she was just overly slow. I grew up on Long Island and got to know some very good pizzerias. After moving away from NY for almost 10 years I couldn't wait to get some pizza as soon as we moved to the area. As luck would have it, this just happened to be the first place I tried on my "pizza and bagel" discovery tour. Needless to say, this has become our go-to pizzeria. Everything else is delicious as well. The lack of 5th star has to do with the garlic knots, which I value quite high when it comes to a pizzeria experience. My wife and I went here for dinner on Monday night. we arrived kind of late at approximately 8:45 p.m. however they were very happy to see us, and seated us in the back room dining area. The dining area was nice, and comfortable, and we felt right at home. Being so late it was not very crowded but, it was obvious from the tables around us they have been busy. That's a good sign, when a strip mall pizza parlor, is busy for dinner in the seating area, you can tell that the locals eat there often. We had been told that they do catering, so we were really on a fact-finding tour . first we had appetizers and soup. I got the cream of broccoli soup and my wife got the fried zucchini. I completely enjoyed my broccoli soup and my wife was very happy with the fried zucchini. they were both very nice sized portions the soup coming with butter and a hard roll and the zucchini sticks coming with a side of pasta sauce. We also received an order of garlic knots, the garlic knots are smaller than the average Garlic Knot but, we got quite a few of them in the basket. the flavor on the garlic knots was very good. and the sauce for dipping was equally delicious. Next came the main course, I had ordered stuffed shells, with a side order of Meatballs my wife ordered Penne alla Vodka. When my food arrived, I was very happy to Note that I had a large portion of shells , five stuffed shells to be exact. Covered with a slice or two of mozzarella cheese. The meatballs were firm yet meaty, not too much in the way of breadcrumbs, and had a very distinct, unique flavor. I thought they were very yummy, and my wife tried some as well, and she agrees. As to the Penne alla Vodka my wife ordered, she could not stop eating it as it tasted so delicious. She claims she eats Penne alla vodka in lots of different places, and has never had any that tasted as good as this! After dinner we're both too stuffed to eat dessert but, we did order dessert to go. We ordered several different desserts, so we can get a good idea as to the flavors they use. I ordered a lemon flavored Italian Ice. as well as a cannoli, a pumpkin spice cannoli , a slice of tiramisu, and a piece of cheesecake. Later on the next day we ate most of the desserts. My wife Raves about the tiramisu, saying that it was perfect, and the bottom was not soggy with just enough flavor to make you happy as heck! The pumpkin spice cannoli was good, but not a highlight to me, nor to my wife. the lemon Italian Ice had good flavor but it was in fact made with high-fructose corn syrup, so I had to throw it away after I left. I asked in advance, before I ordered it, and was told it was made with sugar. The second ingredient on the label says sugar, but the third ingredient is high fructose corn syrup. We try to not eat that stuff if we can help it! Next we had the cheesecake it was good, although not as good as the cheesecake my wife makes.The last dessert we have is the cannoli, and we will be enjoying that tonight after dinner. All in all , we enjoyed our meal here and, look forward to going back again to try new menu items. The waitress was friendly, and on top of things. Not making us wait long for anything that needed to come out. We spent about $75 on dinner and desserts, and extra appetizers. But, you can probably go and have dinner for two for well under $50. So, I recommend this Italian restaurant with 4 stars! read more

First off, if I had the option to give it less than one star I would. Secondly, they don't know the fucking difference between capellini noodles and spaghetti noodles, which is understandable considering they're all Mexican working at an Italian food place. They were also very rude and highly uneducated on their pasta noodles. Also, my friend ordered the "mama Theresa's chicken" and the girl stupidly asks "is that a sub?"....does that sound like a sub??
