Una cucina semplice, ma mai banale, sempre attenta alla qualità e basata su prodotti genuini. La nostra cucina in estate si basa prevalentemente sul pescato giornaliero, il nostro menù è affiancato sempre da specialità diverse, a seconda di quello che ogni giorno il mare offre. Non dimentichiamo certo la carne, bistecche e fiorentine, e i salumi che andiamo a prendere direttamente da una delle migliori macellerie del Chianti. La pasta, i dolci, così come alcuni liquori tipici e tante altre specialità sono fatti in casa. La nostra cantina è basata prevalentemente su vini Elbani e Toscani. Prenotazione gradita. We were welcomed by the owner and started off enjoying a sparkling white wine while enjoying bruschetta (local vibrant tomatoes). We spoke English and they spoke Italian and they accommodated every request with a smile. Tip: The menu is in Italian/German and English. We moved on to our next course of fresh mussels in an amazing broth. We finished our lunch with fresh pasta - mussels, clams and baby snails. Delicious! We decided that it was so tasty we would come back for dinner and so happy we did! The local wines were superb as well as the house made limoncello. For dinner we once again enjoyed the beautiful homemade pasta and this time with olive oil and peppers. The owner came our with a tray of the fresh pasta prior to it being cooked. Yumm! Extremely nice ladies running it, very clean, food excellent and not expensive. We had two vegetable side dishes (one was stuffed zucchini flowers deep-fried--wow!), spaghetti with mixed seafood (whole crab, little conches, squid, mussels, clams in a light tomato sauce), and salmon in a potato crust (really good).
