I immediately called the pharmacy after realizing the mistake and explained that I had just left and had received the wrong medication. The pharmacist told me to come back and said they would exchange it for me. She even asked if I lived far, and I told her I was only down the street from the pharmacy. When I returned, I was behind another car as I proceeded toward the drive-thru window. As I approached, they closed the window and told me through the intercom that they were closed. I could see staff members inside, and from my perspective, they appeared to be laughing while I was outside trying to get their attention and asking for my medication. I was extremely upset because this was not a joke--it involved my medication and my health. If the pharmacy makes a mistake, I believe they have a responsibility to take immediate action to correct it, especially when it concerns someone's medication. Mistakes can happen, but how you handle those mistakes matters. I expected professionalism, urgency, and respect. Instead, I felt completely dismissed and disrespected. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business and prescriptions elsewhere. I do not want to continue using a pharmacy where I feel my concerns are not taken seriously. Very disappointing experience. Walgreens needs to do better, especially when it comes to handling customers' medications.

What's unique about their toast is you can customize it to add more or less toppings to your liking. Now to get micro cilantro from what's technically a gas station blows my mind. They have little touches that scream EXTRAORDINARY! They always have samples. Today I'm so happy they offered their soups. The brisket soup is phenomenal. By the way they smoke the brisket on site!!! A perfect treat for a cold, winter day. So rich in flavor. I finished my meal with self service coffee. I had accumulated points by downloading their app taking $5 off my order. The app is great, you get coupons for discounts and the points add up quick. Definitely worth the space on your phone.

It's a Boston based radio and TV show that visits restaurants and food shacks across New England. It's a very fun show and I love their hosts (especially Leigh!). So we're watching a few weeks ago and they did a report on "some of the best barbecue we've had in a while". Now if that wasn't even to grab my attention, what they said next sure did -because this barbecue came from a gas station. Or rather a gas station/convenience store. There are 14 Alltown Fresh stations sprinkled across New England and four of them sell Barbecue. Once I discovered we didn't live too far from one, that sold barbecue (in Waterbury) I bookmarked it and we visited yesterday. It sure resembles a Cumberland Farms/Pride convenience store, but the distinguishing difference is they cook up fresh barbecue dishes to order. We got our barbecue fix with a big barbecue plate and a big barbecue bowl for around $20. They will give us four portions. My wife ordered a pulled pork plate that included bread and butter pickles, a big hunk of cornbread, and a choice of 2 sides from this selection - bbq baked beans, black bean salad, coleslaw, corn chow-chow, cucumber salad, mac n' cheese, macaroni salad, and potato salad. She went with slaw and mac and cheese and with my own eyes I saw their cook whipping up a fresh batch of mac and cheese in a saute pan behind the counter. I went with a BBQ Pork bowl with slow-cooked bbq pork, queso fresco, avocado, pico de gallo, and cilantro on a bed of shredded romaine lettuce and latin rice. The food was terrific and very reasonably priced at about ten bucks each. We had half of our orders for dinner last night and will finish them off tonight.

I haven't been inside since the renovation,but I've used the pumps a few times now. They repositioned the angle and amount of pumps. It's more easier to get to them now. They are now open 24 hrs. Their gas prices are very good, almost as cheap as the Xpress fuel station down the street. It looks great with all the changes they made. I haven't had any issues with my pump purchases. I will have to venture inside sometime soon.

It was filled with every single brand of water, energy drink, etc, They have so many snacks, chips, nuts, candy and chocolate. But that's not all. They also have a coffee station, freshly made sandwiches, granola cups, etc... Additionally they have a few tables where you may sit with your food. We didn't utilize the gas station at this time, but the prices were about average. We got our waters and we were on our way.
