Absolutely incredible gelato! We stumbled across this place since it was around the corner from where we were having dinner (and you know it has to be good because the Danish couple that we were dining next to at the restaurant also came in to get some gelato to go). Our kiddo got a mango sorbet that was like a frozen fluffy mango cloud. So good. Both of us went with a scoop of their "Othello cake"--omg yum! Basically a kind of vanilla-y marzipan with a raspberry jam running through and a ganache topping that gets mixed in with the scoop. One of us also got a scoop of the Ferrero Rocher; needless to say it was nutella-like heavenliness. And there was another scoop that one of us got that we are both forgetting two days later because the Othello cake trumped them all. Friendly and cozy on the inside, it's a sweet lil shop that's worth stopping into if you're nearby. Five happy stars. read more

Walking back from dinner at Mephisto (highly recommend) we stopped here for dessert. I had the licorice gelato which was perfect - bitter, salty and full of flavor! We will go back tomorrow! read more

Absolutely loved this gelato spot! It's always busy however, service is very quick. The quality of the gelato is excellent as well; smooth, creamy and flavorful. I got black currant and coffee. You can sit inside or outside. We loved sitting outside to people watch. This is the perfect dessert spot to enjoy especially since the weather has been so lovely! read more

Once a year, at least, they offer various events giving out free ice cream at all their locations (AWESOME!!!) This location was located next to my apartment in Aarhus and made for a convenient way to indulge when the cravings struck! Their hours are very limited and closed for the entire cold season, which in Denmark is about half the year!!! How they ever afford rent in the downtown area without being open half the year impresses me. Their prices are a bit expensive (also, it's Denmark) and they often have lines that go out the door on hot summer days making good service rare. The people who work at this location are nice but not very friendly. Don't expect too many smiles here! :)

Very good ice cream and probably one of the best in Aarhus (perhaps suppe-steg-is is better, but…read morethat's it). A bit expensive and often long lines - but the long lines are for a reason, the ice cream is italian style and lots of it.
