For Example, their happy hour prices for pints of Lager was £3. That how much i sell mine for at any normal time! It just seemed a lot. Oh well. The pub itself seemed very homely. It was like sitting in your front room. They also let their cat out once they've stopped serving food and everyone has finished. Very friendly wanting attention! The guys working there, Husband and wife i believe, are very friendly, him especially as he's the barman and she's the chef so you only see her once she's finished out the back. Also the smoking area was really nice, very clean and well maintained. Lots of colourful flowers. Even the sign outside the pub quotes ' probably the best smoking area in kent ' whether this is actually true is to be decided i suppose on other places. I myself believe that i have been in nicer ones with a lovely river but it was indeed very nice. Other than the high prices it was a good night out.

The smoking area was indeed colourful and very well maintained with its lights and flowers. Nice place to enjoy a drink and a smoke. I enjoyed it very much here and enjoyed the converstaion with the landlord, who seemed very welcoming and polite. I enjoyed this pub also as it walkable from my home and we don't have to drive which works for us.

Not only is it perfect for its food and beer, but for its location is fantastic, set right next to the village green, it is the perfect place to sit with a beer and watch the village cricket team while the sun goes down on a English summer. It is hard not to be biased when talking about the bull, but i would truly encourage anyone passing through to stop off for at least a pint.

We called ahead to see if they were open and the woman that answered was kind and ready to accommodate a group of 6 people. We went into the little pub and it felt homey. Our food was fresh and the beers were good. Excellent customer service. There was a pool table we enjoyed as well as dessert. Our group appreciated what the pub had to offer. Thanks!
