I had an amazing experience at this spa. I came in for a chemical peel and microdermabrasion. I've suffered from acne for years and finally started to see a difference in my skin after seeing Jillian. I told her my concerns with my skin and how I was worried about doing a peel because I am busy and do not have down time to hide from the outside world. She recommended a chemical peel that was not incredibly aggressive on the skin and had like 1 day downtime. I left feeling rejuvenated and my skin already felt and looked better. The microdermabrasion was like a tiny vacuum and was honestly one of my favorite parts. She made the whole experience relaxing and I can't wait to go back for another session. The bad reviews about this place are real. I called them since I bought a groupon deal for them, 2 facial services. I was making an appointment and the lady that picked up in the beginning she was being nice, then she asked what service are you going to do I said the acne facial, and she said what Groupon deal did you get I told her I bought the groupon deal that comes with 2 facial services. She said so what two am I going to get and I said I am is only getting one service done, the acne facial. She said you have to use both the services in one day. I told her that didn't make any sense why would I get two facials in one day. I explained to her the Groupon and she said "if Groupon changed that, I am going to sue them", this is when her mood completely changed and she was rude. I already got a refund from Groupon thank god! But this place is going to lose business with a rude person like that answering the calls. read more

BEWARE of hidden fees!! I purchased a groupon for laser hair removal. I called to make an appointment and the Dr is booked for over a month. When I schedule my appointment for a month later, I was told there was a consultation fee of $40. I explained that I had purchased a groupon for laser hair removal and this information was not presented in the fine print. The receptionist mentioned that the Dr. didn't get the full amount from groupon so this was his was of getting extra money... (No kidding!!!) I told her if the Dr. wanted more money he should have put that in the fine print and upped the prices for groupon!! I would have gladly paid the consult fee if it were stated upfront!!! If he wasn't happy with what he was getting from groupon he should have never done it in the fist place. I told her I wasn't going to pay for the Dr. to tell me in 15 sec that yes he would do the laser hair removal that I had originally purchased. That is why I bought the groupon. Basically I was told I pay it or get a refund.... I called groupon and they stated that it was NOT in the fine print that he had additional fees. They will be opening a complaint against his business. I was able to get a refund from groupon because I was within my 7days of purchase. read more

I recently purchased a groupon to have laser hair removal surgery for 140.00. I thought that was a pretty good deal. The groupon says appointment required so I made one. When I called Jackie told me I needed to pay an additional $40.00 for a consultation . I think that is a rip-off only because in the past groupon vouchers say if there will be more money that will be added on to the total. I think that is very unprofessional to just tell a customer at the last minute after buying the groupon deal there is actually more money you have to pay. The groupon should have said up front 180.00 because that is what you will be paying. If I would have known that I wouldn't have purchased. I started going to manasra spa because I bought a Groupon for laser removal of my underarms and can't say enough about the results it's been a year and a half since last session and little no hair in the area. Mind you my hair grows super fast and is course so I was initially doubtfully it would work for me but so glad I followed through plus it helped with lightened the color of my dark underarms. Dr Ali makes you feel comfortable and able to talk frankly accomadating and no pressure enviroment. I first started with hair laser removal and had my consult with the Doctor. He made me feel very comfortable! His bedside manor is very professional as well as humble! This was my first visit to the spa. I had a bittersweet experience. I usually have Botox between my eyes where my frown wrinkles are and a little on each side to soften my crows feet. I was very clear about what I wanted and what I didn't want. After my Botox kicked in I still had wrinkles between my eyes but I looked like Dr. Spock with high eyebrows which I was very clear about not getting any injections on my forehead. I went back in for my follow up and sat in the lobby for one hour after my scheduled appointment and told Dr. Ali was not coming in. I scheduled the appointment for the following day with a phone call late morning expressing he would still not be coming in that day. He finally came in Thursday afternoon and told me it wasn't his fault and that I would have to pay for 15 more cc to fix my frown lines. $1000 later, I have now paid double what I have ever paid in my life. He did tell me that the 7 cc's he put on my upper head to soften the Dr. Spock look was a free service to me! Wow. I have to say the girl at the front desk was gracious and works overtime on accommodating unhappy clients that come in to find they wasted their afternoon on a no-show doctor. read more

Let me first say that my laser hair treatments have completely transformed and has improved my overall confidence. I am very pleased and satisfied with my results. I have very pale skin with coarse dark pigmented facial hair and after about my 6th session treatment, I started to see a reduction in hair growth by approximately 80%. I once had to shave my face twice a day. I believe I am on my 8th treatment and as of now I only have to shave about once a week. It has been a phenomenal transformation and Dr. Ali and his team have been there for support every step of the way. I have been going to Dr. Ali for about three years and have had excellent results with every procedure. I started out with a groupon for laser hair removal for my armpits and was very happy with the results, so I went back and got laser hair removal for my legs. I've had Botox in my forehead that erased the lines, so I will definitely keep it up. Dr. Ali also has the Viora Reaction machine so about a year ago I had the lower portion of my face done - the results were amazing! No pain or downtime and my neck, chin and lower face are so much tighter and wrinkle free that I look years younger than my age (early 60's). Dr. Ali is still excited with my results from the procedure, and has taken pictures to show other prospective clients the great results. The spa is gorgeous, clean, and very tranquil and Dr. Ali is one of the most caring people I have met, making sure everything he does comes out perfect.
