    Green bean and chow fun
    Helen O.

We had the Hot and sour soup which they give to start. It had button mushrooms, tofu and all the ingredient of hot and sour soup. We had braised green bean and beef chow fun. The green bean tasted real good it wasn't salty just the right amount of salt. The chow fun was also not too salty and the noodle was not too thick and its tender.

Not to be hyperbolic, but this is the best Chinese spot in Dublin if not the East Bay (though the latter would be an especially absurdly bold claim) and anyone who says otherwise is a blithering idiot. That's not my opinion, that's an indisputable objective fact. Go argue with a newly painted wall. The two things I liked most in the three or so times I've eaten here are the Princess Chicken (which is sweet, slightly tangy, and crispy) and the fish fillets in black bean sauce. I appreciated the abundance of vegetables in the latter dish since I need to increase my fiber intake but it needed more fish fillet. There wasn't enough of it tonight. But it was delicious. Oh and the service is great. Staff is always nice, attentive, and quick to give drink refills. I also like that they have chili oil at their tables. I love chili oil. Chili oil is my favorite flavor.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely outstanding presentation, quality, and taste are all top notch. Every dish came out beautifully plated, and the flavors were just as impressive. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and everything was perfectly seasoned. the customer service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish.

Went for lunch special in nice and rainy weather during the week, and really enjoyed this amazing Chinese food. The hot and sour soup was refreshing and also enjoyed the Mongolian chicken and hunan prawns; quantity was pretty good for lunch. Will come next time for ala carte as looks they have amazing options on the menu.

Quick service. War wonton soup had good proportion between wontons, vegetables & variety of proteins. While the wonton filling seemed to have finely chopped water chestnuts for texture and good scallion flavor, it did taste like there were more dough like fillers than meat.

Came here at 630pm on a Thursday night and we were the first table but it filled up full quick! People coming in non stop to pick up food as well. I kinda liked that you can hear the roar or the fires cooking in The background. We wanted to compare this place to grand cafe and I think we wanna say we like it better. Better in price, portions, and flavor. And we liked Grand Cafe! Ordered beef chow fun, potstickers, and chicken and green beans. Big portions, and loaded with meat. Lot of wok hei. I feel the potsticker were handmade too. The skin felt fresh and the potstickers were also pretty big and plump. Only complaint was is could have been crispier. Also a plus for the bf was the soda refills were included. Definitely will be making it our go to.

Ordered the princess chicken lunch special. Chicken delectable!! Wish I had more of its savory sauce on the side. For extra fee I upgraded to fried rice. Lunch still under $20. Comes with soup and fried won ton. This was more than enough for a lunch serving. I would say the entrée was like a triple serving. I see why my takeout bag was heavy . The aroma was on point and I could hardly wait to dig in. My fried rice didn't look appetizing (like not tossed in the wok and mixed well) but it had great flavor... so no complaints with taste. On my next visit I'll try their BBQ pork fried rice and veggie cuisines!! Yummy!!

If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine that doesn't skimp on flavor, Mandarin Delight is a must-visit. I stopped by on a Saturday night, and while there was a bit of a wait, it was well worth it--the packed house just goes to show how popular this spot is! The Atmosphere & Service The restaurant has a great upbeat and casual atmosphere, making it perfect for a fun dinner out. Despite the Saturday night rush, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of without ever feeling rushed. The Food The highlights, of course, were the dishes. Everything was served hot, fresh, and felt genuinely authentic. Here's a breakdown of our spread: House Chow Mein & House Fried Rice: Both were "wok-fired" to perfection. The Chow Mein had a great noodle texture, and the Fried Rice was light, fluffy, and packed with a generous amount of meats and veggies. Orange Chicken: This was a crowd-pleaser--crispy on the outside with a tender interior, tossed in a vibrant, tangy glaze that wasn't overly syrupy. Beef & Broccoli: The beef was incredibly tender and savory, paired with bright green broccoli that had that perfect, fresh snap. Salt & Pepper Pork: A standout dish! It had a light, shattering crispness and was seasoned perfectly with that addictive blend of salt, toasted pepper, and aromatics. Mongolian Chicken: Bold and aromatic. The sauce was rich and savory with just the right amount of depth, coating the tender chicken beautifully. Final Verdict I would definitely recommend Mandarin Delight to anyone craving a solid, flavorful Chinese meal. Between the high-quality food and the welcoming service, I will absolutely be going back! Rating:

Found myself in the East Bay late last month and was wondering if there was any decent Chinese restaurants. There was. As usual, my buddy and I were starving so we went all in: potstickers, chicken with sting beans, spicy pork w/ garlic sauce, bbq pork chow main....of course, beer. Everything was good and now I know a spot in Dublin. Service was also good. Also, the portions are big and we ended up boxing the leftovers. That is also good. Okay, now for your viewing pleasure.

This is definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants! It is always packed because their food is so delicious. It's extremely crowded around lunch time, so I normally order a to go lunch special. I love their Mongolian beef. The steak is so juicy and cut into thick slices. Every lunch special comes with soup of the day and a crispy wonton all for $15. However, if you get a chicken lunch special it's $13. The ambiance is very welcoming, they are quick to seat you if there are tables available! Highly highly recommended.

Mandarin Delight - Where the Wok Sings and the Community Dines If you believe the soul of a good Chinese restaurant lies in its wok, then Mandarin Delight in Dublin, California, is a place where the wok truly sings. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the warm clatter of plates, a gentle hum of happy conversation, and the comforting aromas of garlic, ginger, and sesame oil wafting from the kitchen. This is not a flashy place -- and that's what makes it so special. It's a neighborhood gem, beloved by locals who don't just come to eat -- they come to connect. The food? Fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. The vegetables arrive at your table crisp and alive, kissed by high-heat and never overcooked -- the way Chinese cooking should be. The pork dishes are a standout: tender, juicy, and perfectly balanced with sweet and savory sauces that cling without overpowering. Every bite reminds you this is a kitchen that cooks with pride. The ambience is simple but welcoming -- brightly lit, tidy, and filled with that family-run energy you can't fake. Here, everyone's on a first-name basis. The owners know their regulars, and the regulars love them right back. It's the kind of restaurant where your favorite dish might just arrive before you even ask -- because they already know what you love. And while Dublin might be growing fast, Mandarin Delight feels rooted -- a steady presence amid the bustle. Located right on a neighborhood path with plenty of parking and steady foot traffic, it draws in families, professionals, and longtime locals who treat this place like an extension of their own kitchen. In a world full of big chains and fast fusions, Mandarin Delight stays true to what works: fresh ingredients, honest cooking, and deep relationships. That's the secret ingredient, and they've got it in every dish. -if you're in Dublin and craving Chinese, you'd be missing out if you don't stop here.

It's near impossible to park nearby with the alternative of parking near the Panera's or even the target. There's plenty of tables and seats inside, and it was pretty slow when we dined in. Convenient televisions on two different sides where all the workers were casually watching, and quite the chatter in the kitchen where they're all watching the World Cup. That doesn't really affect service however as they're quite attentive when called for. We ordered the salted fish and chicken fried rice, and the medium bbq platter with char sound soy sauce chicken. All very delicious! The only thing is that they can bit on the pricier side with $20 for the fried rice and $30 for the bbq plate. Overall, I thought grand cafe definitely scratched our itch for Cantonese style dining experience. On top of that, an automatic gratuity was added to a table of only three people with one of them being 4 year old. She barely even ate with tea price per person. I don't mind paying premium prices for great food and service, but I do expect transparency. I just wish there were more chunks of beef that were included - the dish is very carb heavy. We also shared a plate of the pig ear appetizer which is soaked in a rich chili oil. Seeing CA Noodle show up on our yelp search and it was nearby, we decided to check it out. The location is pretty convenient, located in a plaza that shares parking spaces with several other restaurants and a McDonald's. The inside only seats about 10-14 parties of 2-4, so a pretty small restaurant. They had 2 waiters staffing the entire restaurant, but the menu and ordering system is all done through a POS via QR code. The menu was quite large, offering no many choices like pot stickers, noodle soups, chow mein, and little appetizers like pig ears. We ended up ordering the pig ears, pot stickers, pork pan fried bun, and 2 noodle soups. The good: pig ears. The pig ears were cut in various sizes and the flavor was spicy. Definitely to our liking! The neutral: the pork hamburger item and pot stickers. While the bun was tasty and crispy, the mean in between was a bit dry and the taste was a bit mild and less salty. We made it better by adding pig ears with every bite lol. The pot stickers were fine but it didn't really give a crispy bottom taste and more of dry pan sear. It definitely needed sauce as the filling was a bit mild too (very consistent mild tastings after the pig ears. The bad: the soup dishes that we ordered were definitely needing a flavor bomb. While the noodles we ordered were great and had a ton of chew and the protein in the dish was plenty; the soup lacked in taste. My girlfriend had to ask for additional salt to add to taste and it made it so much better. I ate mine as intended and I wasn't as satisfied as compared to if I were to eat at ox9 or muragame. Overall, I thought our meal was about a 3.5. While we enjoyed watching the World Cup while eating our food, the taste of our food was much more desired and it didn't scratch our itch for a rich soup. Unfortunately, many of the other patrons seemed to catch on and order the chow mein instead. If we come back, it's probably what we would order next. Until next time!

A few minutes later they called back to ask if I wanted bone in or boneless. I told them bone in was fine, I just didn't want the skin. When I got home and ate it, the food was okay overall. The chicken was cold, not like it had been sitting out, but more like it had just come out of the refrigerator. The peanuts were actually a nice touch and added good flavor and texture. I also liked the ginger sauce they poured over the chicken, but there really wasn't enough of it. I wish they gave extra on the side in a separate container. The side veggies were okay too. It came with cucumbers, quail eggs, and fungus. I ate everything except the fungus. It had a very unique flavor that I just couldn't get into. Overall it wasn't bad, but I've definitely had better Hainan chicken elsewhere, so I'm not sure if I'd come back again.

The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the siu mai, bean curd rolls with shrimp, pork, and mushrooms, pan-fried chive and shrimp dumplings, roasted duck, and salt-and-pepper squid. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The standouts for me were the crispy salt-and-pepper squid, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the roasted duck with its crispy skin and juicy, tender meat. The pan-fried dumplings had a wonderful texture with a flavorful filling, while the bean curd rolls were packed with savory goodness. The siu mai were plump, fresh, and exactly what you'd hope for from a quality dim sum restaurant. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere exceeded expectations. Everything we tried was delicious, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommended for anyone craving quality dim sum in the Dublin area.
