I really have to give this place five stars. The chicken dish was crispy coated. On the bone,…read moresprinkled with sesame seeds and very good value. I found it a fairly standard practice to pay for food on ordering and being given an electronic vibrating buzzer to return to collect once the food is cooked. The portion size was generous at around £3.50 good value. It was cooked fresh and cooked fast. I was asked if I wanted it spicy or non spicy and as it was for my wife it was the non spice option. I tried some and I must say it was great and I imagine spicy would have brought it to a whole other level. They had one well worn menu in English - staff were very friendly. This restaurant is one of six or so eateries in the upstairs food court in this out - of - town shopping centre and there's a communal seating place with nearby by toilet facilities.

And in fact Masala do not only serve Indian food but also Chinese and Thai food as well. I have tried many Indian restaurants in different countries and can say that this one was really good. We tried one vegetarian dish and one with chicken. The taste for both meals were great, the serving was good and the spices were tasty. Also the bread was excellent. They do offer free Wi-Fi, just ask for the password!

The staff basically almost ignored us when we arrived. Once we finish our meals we kindly asked the waitress if we could pay. As for the reply: she emotionally sent us down to the cashier, where we waited another worthwile only to witness more undeniable reluctance from the stuff to do their work and simply recieve the money from us (one was almost tempted to just leave - probably no one would have noticed anyway). The food alone was of standard quality.
