The pancake section of the menu, apart from the Naleśniki, does actually resemble American pancakes fairly well. I had both a savory crepe and a sweet pancake (with M&Ms and Nutella) and both were good and had quite different textures. Manekin restaurants are famous for pancakes with all sort of fillings - fish, beans, you name it. Their restaurants are modest, modern, with lots of good looking service staff - but in reality, it's just a heavily overhyped place for students scavenging for cheap food - I honestly have no clue what made this place and all of those restaurants so famous? The food is simply boring, all of their pancakes, regardless the filling, simply have the same taste, ie no taste at all. No spices, they play very very safe - to keep the not educated, not experienced in proper food public happy. Seriously - the food they serve is simply boring. Just ok. Nothing special. Maybe it's because I'm quiet tired of all this pancakes in the menu. What's the difference between pancake and pancake? Only pancake-lovers know. But food is always fresh and prices are reasonable. I would recommend the restaurant. Be prepared to wait even 30-40 minutes, as there're usually crowds. read more

Excellent! I was here during a business trip. The menu advertsises the food as Pancakes, but this are not pancakes as Americans know them, these are crepes and are delicious. Great variaty for the different tastes, sweet abd salty options. Didn't give 5 stars because the service was really slow despite the restaurant being fairly empty, we had to walk from our table to go look for our waitress. read more
