They have great course offerings BUT their technology is horrific. They must do there own i.t. tech or hire school kids to do it because every site they send u too is confusing and has nothing to do with the Manfred home base so its impossible to keep track of their courses or your certificates. Everytime u click a link u wind up somewhere u have no idea where u are, its complete patchwork. Even there email replies, when u send them an email they reply and delete ur original question so if ur busy u have no idea what question they are answering without going back to search for ur original email. Its a shame because they are responsive and they could be so much better if they had people test their tech so see how bad the user experience is if in fact the care about their customers. If you have trouble with their user experience due to outdated tech let them know or give a THUMBS UP here so hopefully they will help us and help themselves! read more

This training school hires discriminating instructor [John Dianni], who would continue to berate the class saying how "you Millenials have ruined the world", "you won't find girls really able to do this business", "you should slap yourself for being so stupid", "I'd rather shoot myself in the head with how bad you are", and basically continue to insult us and our intelligence. It was to the point myself and 3 others left the class on Friday [5/17/19] so we could learn the materials. Dianni then continued to antagonize myself when I went to the restroom. I had tried prior to the altercation to reach Heather Manfred but she would not respond until later saying there's nothing she can do on the situation right now. It was apparent the lack of urgency. Then as I finally reach John Manfred, he was completely dismissive of the issues and insinuated we [the customers] were the issue. Then proceeded to tell me how he " has complaints like this from people just like YOU, every week", clearly he doesn't try to alleviate the issues then. Which then later he tries to make an apology to the class now claiming he never has complaints from people on Dianni. So which is it, or do you prefer just to lie to people?! It became apparent to many of us the lack of help from the Manfred, as all they clearly only cared that we paid the cost for the training then after that it was no longer their problem. This was honestly such a poorly run place that it was truly laughable and I actually feel sorry for them. read more

This course was actually recommended to me through my father who took this when he first took it, about 20 years ago. I will admit, I was hesitant to take two weeks off of work to take the course, but it was definitely well worth it! Lets face it, some of the material that we had to learn was in no way shape or form...interesting. BUT with the help of instructors that have at least 10, if not 15, 20 or more years in the industry, they were able to work in their own anecdotes and tricks of the trade and pass knowledge along from their experiences that really made sitting there worth it. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. All they literally want to do is see you SUCCEED! And that's a fantastic feeling. There is just one thing to keep in mind when you come to the end of the course, if you do poorly, it's genuinely on you. The staff and instructors do nothing but set you up for success. They give you hints at test questions, they help you with studying, they even give you their business cards so that you can contact them once you start working. I would, hands down recommend this class to anyone even considering going into the Real Estate field. read more

I had a great experience with Manfred. I was able to work hard and complete the course in a short amount of time. The slides were accurate and to the point. I was able to pass the real estate exam on the first try without any trouble. It was great to be able to do everything from home on my own schedule. I worked for about 4 hours a day and it took me two weeks to get my license. I would completely recommend Manfred to anyone looking to get their real estate license. I saw someone posted something about out of date information being in the text books, I did not have this experience. If you are going to be a real estate agent you will learn most of what you need on the job anyway. The entrance exam is a good tool to start your education but is by no means the end of your learning. the laws are constantly changing and it is the responsibility of your broker and yourself to be up to date and proficient in the laws pertaining to whatever real estate niche you end up in. read more

I took the "blended" course and found that if I took the full on-line course, I would have retained more and remembered more, but unfortunately, I did not. I found the "teachers" to be less than adequate. Only 1 was good and she was the first teacher. The rest were bad. One told us about his family that had nothing to do with RE but we all now know about his brother who was arrested. Another told us we could be millionaires in 1-year which is false and misleading information, and yet another treated us like we were students in elementary school in 1877! The students who knew the teachers were more likely to have their questions answered and the rest of us had to wait or never be picked on, or even got a sarcastic answer. If you want your RE license, find another school closer to you, this one is run by the children of the founder and they are children. We are not given practice exams nor are we given practice exams. When we take the school exam, they do not tell us what questions are wrong! My friends who took the test were allowed their phones, therefore they CHEATED!!! If you want your RE license, shop around but take the class online! read more

They offer a wide variety of topics for continuing ed credits. Other firms offer the same boring material over and over. It is a lot of hours spent in a chair, but I feel the instructors try to make the best of it by scheduling quick breaks. Since then I have taken two of the Negotiations Classes held at Manfred. If traffic is a concern well than i would look for a Real Estate school somewhere in the countryside. Its Albany the capital of New York, i went there fully expecting traffic. I have always enjoyed my classroom experiences at Manfred since 1999!

Several years ago I took a real estate sales course at Manfred Real Estate Learning Center. In the middle of the course my father suffered a heart attack and I immediately flew to Florida. I called Manfred to let them know what was going on. They were very sympathetic and told me to take care of my family and worry about the class when I returned. I missed several classes. When I returned they were able to get me into makeup classes within a week. I was still able to take the state exam with the rest of the class. The customer service at Manfred is exceptional, friendly, and personal. It is great to go into a business and be greeted by name. The instructors kept the class interactive and interesting. After reading the text books and taking Manfred's courses I had no problem passing the state exam, even with the personal issues I had going on. Manfred's course did an excellent job not only preparing me for the exam but preparing me for a career. The Instructors that Manfred uses have been successful in their personal careers and had a lot of great advice. I knew I was learning success from success. Which is why I continue to go to Manfred, Not only do they offer continue education but they also offer courses to enhance your growth in business. Whenever I go to Manfred I am never disappointed.
