I took my wife there for our anniversary and it was the most disappointing meal ever. First the service was slow even though they were not busy. Employees standing around and the lady behind the sushi bar was yelling at the staff. Not being there before we asked some questions about the menu but the waiter could not answer them. The food and service here are great, we have never had a bad meal. The only reason I am not giving a five-star review is because while having lunch here listening to how the manager or lead server I'm not sure who she is made me so uncomfortable I do not want to return. She was rude to someone in training as well as a different server. It reminded me of a bad boss I once had and I was so uncomfortable I do not wish to return. I love Korean food and so I was really excited to come here and try their food since there's a lot of great reviews for it. Plus it's hard to find a decent Korean restaurant in Florida. Unfortunately, I'm pretty disappointed. I always order seafood pancake as an appetizer and some kind of jjigae as my main course. Of course it would have been amazing if they had budae jjigae but this is often a rare item on any Korean menu. Anyways I got the kimchi jjigae as a substitute. I felt a little cheated off as to how much I was paying for what I was getting. There was barely any meat and tofu in my soup and the taste was ok but not great. I felt like the soup was lacking something. As for the seafood pancake, it was tasty but I've had better. This one here had very little seafood and scallions in it. It was mostly batter which made the pancake soft and not crunchy like it should. Also ordered kalbi which surprisingly was delicious considered the other dishes weren't up to par. read more

Fantastic food with generous portions. It was my 2nd time in the past couple of months, I'm not as adventurous as my husband, but had excellent pad Thai the first time and chicken teriyaki tonight. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the sauce was light, but flavorful. My husband, his best friend, and my brother shared a variety of traditional Korean food. They left stuffed and very happy. My husband's best friend noted that this is where his family (who are Korean and own multiple reastarants) come when they want Korean food. The staff are wonderful. I love Korean food, so even though I traveled almost an hour to get here, it was worth it. I loved the sight of the Jinro soju bottle! It brought back memories from being over there. I have to say that this is a super fun place to eat if you're feeling adventurous. You get all kinds of delicious pickled sides and sauces and it all compliments the food well. We went there to celebrate my birthday - second time there. First time was so so - wait staff left lot to be desired. This time they were just as bad - first waitress didn't even know what diet drinks they had. The table next to me tried to order after us but was ignored for a long time! Food (meats) were unseasoned and bland. Got kimchee fried rice and was totally disappointed - I have been to Korea and this isn't even close to kimchee!! Paid the bill and started driving home. Half way there my stomach was rumbling and so was my wifes! We barely made it home and both headed to two bathrooms and had to stay on the toilet for a long time!! stomach cramps etc etc. Thanks for a lousy ending to my birthday. Never again. read more

I've been here about three times, and the sushi is fantastic. However, the last time I visited this restaurant I had an extremely rude encounter with a waitress. The staff are usually always brash, but that doesn't bother me too much. But on this occasion, I paid for my meal with cash, as I had forgotten my card. The waitress asks if I'd like change. I reply yes. After taking my check and my money, she comes back with my change. I'm about to leave when she turns around and practically screams "no tip ma'am???!!" I was shocked! Of course, I had assumed that the suggested tip was taken out of my cash. I told her this, and she scoffed rudely and said "No ma'am." She was staring me down rudely and I finally put down $5 and left. As I was walking out, I heard her complain to the waitresses about me. I had also had another experience where my check was miscalculated. I had $7 sushi and $10 ramen, and my total came to about $25 before tax or a tip. I had to ask to have it fixed. I understand that accidents happen, but this place is NOT good with money. Food is good though, so I'll just order it on Uber Eats next time so I don't need to deal with the poor service and staff. read more

I am SO happy to finally find a restaurant that serves Thai food that I love in the area! Hilarious how the actual full Thai restaurants do not even come close! The staff was very friendly and hospitable and were able to genuinely answer all of our questions, which is another quality that is hard to find around here! The food was so good. It's been too long since I had good yellow curry and they nailed it! The pad thai was excellent, as well. I really hope this restaurant stays open, as I'm convinced that the building is cursed. Everything we had was delicious. Their tofu pad Thai was the best I ever had. My husband had the Bulgogi which comes with so many flavourful sides that you can wrap together in lettuce. This place just opened up a few months ago. It was my brother, husband, and I's first time to the restaurant yesterday for lunch. The Korean BBQ bento box with sushi was worth every penny! Reasonably priced as well! Really flavorful. We all were happy with the bbq and the sushi. Even there homemade Thai iced tea was awesome. We will definitely be back to eat here as frequently as we can. We love to support local businesses, especially one that is such a gem like this.
