Stingy, stingy on butter on one bagel. Stingy on cream cheese on the other even though we knew to tell them we didn't want it dry. So once 3 miles away at home we hated our breakfast. Totally OUR BAD for going back because it's always been a negative experience the last 10 years. We seem to forget every 2 or 3 years but not this time. Giving the much better Glenolden one our business.

This isn't what I asked for

The service was terrible he forgot I was there and got me the wrong sandwich which I didn't realize til I got to work and the hash brown was dry and way over cooked never again

    Honor what your coupon says

The coupon in my email from Manhattan for a free bagel stated clearly "show coupon on your mobile device". The manager wouldn't honor it. He demanded a printout of the coupon. His words "You could show that email to 5 different locations and do the same thing." Never mind that I could print out the coupon 5 times and do the same thing. This location has guaranteed they will never get my business again. Save your time and go to Custom Bagel nearby. They're much better anyway. FYI... The Glenolden location honored the coupon without a printout.

Undercooked bacon and barely any scallion cream cheese. No thanks

Beware! I've been to other Manhattan bagels and they are good, but NOT this location. Their team does not wear gloves to prepare your food. Never did I see them clean/scrape the grill between orders. They also charge slicing fees lol. Pros-bagels seem fresh everyday, speedy in/out, real eggs used Cons-lack of specialty cream cheese, undercooked bacon, rarely any cream cheese on bagels, DIRTY ALL IN ALL - This place is too expensive for what they give you. $13 for a bacon egg and cheese and a bagel with cream cheese bacon and tomato (dont judge til you try it - just not here) I will be going to NY bagels from now on in this area.

I not one to complain but there was hair inbed in the bagel. Like they dropped it on floor before baking an baked it anyway

There was hair inbed in the bagel like they dropped it before baking an instant of throwing it out they baked it anyway

They did what this location could never, have actually decent coffee. Still the same price I'm guessing

Just moved to the area from Jersey. Glad this spot is so close to me. Bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel, delicious.

Good bagel. Fast service. Wondering why I was charged a $1 for butter on a bacon egg & cheese bagel WTH?

Great bagel sandwhiches. Eggs cooked just right. They get you in and out quick. Coffee is pretty good too.

I love the Omelettes, they're definitely above average, they come with fried potatoes and perfectly toasted/buttered bread. I love putting the omelette on top of the bread, so good! The perfect amount of food and I clean my plate everytime. Although, not enough for leftovers. I've gotten the 14 Hour Pork Butt Omelette and the Kennett Square Omelette. Both were delicious! My boyfriend and family have had the Huevos Rancheros--which looked amazing and I was told it was delicious. Looked like a lot of food too, so if you want something more filling and hearty, I'd get that over the omelettes. They've also had the breakfast sandwiches, which looked like a steal for the price and very good as well. The coffee, hot chocolate and tea is great too, and fairly priced! I get a drink every time, and they make sure you have refills, sugar, honey, whatever you want with it. Overall I recommend this place as a pretty good option if you're in Media!

The staff is friendly, attentive, and very competent. The place would benefit from replacing ceiling panels and updating the bathroom, but none of that is critical.

Today was a happy accident. Originally the search was for a place that we had assumed was in…read moreNewtown Square, but was actually in Newtown; much too far to go to for an impromptu breakfast unless we were prepared for a small trip. However, this is the circumstances that led me to Rolling Stars. Not knowing what to expect whatsoever, except that I read that they served bagels, I was blown away by the offerings and the quality of everything they have, and will definitely be coming back to try some other menu items in the near future! Not only do they make almost everything from scratch, homemade here, with the bagels obviously being their signature item, everything is fresh, bold and wonderful. They even have a daily soup that is prepared by hand, that is available all day long, even for breakfast. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that this is a game changer for me. Their coffee drinks are very good, and while not the best I have had, they are fun, tasty and they will make special additions simply if you've ask. In my case I ordered a simple cappuccino but they added little heart sprinkles for Valentine's Day since it is upcoming, even though the drink doesn't have them. The biggest problem I had was trying to decide what to actually choose from the menu because I was faced with way too many options that I wanted. I ultimately went with "the Bella", a portobello sandwich, which comes on your choice of bread, or any of their bagels, of which I chose the egg everything. Within a few bites I knew that this was easily within the top three bagel sandwiches I had ever had, and I am very critical of bagels and have had a TON of bagels and bagel sandwiches, coming from a kosher deli family. I also had the soup of the day which was a brilliant chicken noodle with awesome large macaroni elbows that just totally kicked it up. In our entire visit we only encountered one thing that was bothersome and it wasn't with my food but with our table's, and this was likely due to expectations. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is simply a plain bagel with a slice of cheddar and diced jalapeños on top. Now it was still outstandingly delicious, but I feel like we were under the impression it would be cooked into the dough and the entirety of the bagel. This wasn't the case and I can't knock them for it because it was still fantastic; aesthetics be damned! You should definitely visit here if you have not been here yet, and I can guarantee you will be coming back again and again. I cannot wait to go back, and I didn't even touch on the crazy awesome bagel chips that come with nearly everything!
