By far the best in the Four Corners area. The other options around here range from terrible to just okay. What Manninos gets right where the rest don't is the crust. It's got that subtle crispiness on the very bottom but still soft in texture. Somehow no other place around here can do that. The other components compliment it perfectly, slightly acidic sauce and a cheese that stretches. Inside is super no frills and I like it. They have a special for two slices and a soda for $6.50. No no no NY native here, i haven't had pizza in forever and was craving a nice fresh margaherita pizza. I kept imagining fresh basil, with mozzarella not overwhelmed with ricotta along with beautiful sauce. Just go get the pizza already! The place doesn't look like much but the pizza is amazing New York style pizza. We tried the pepperoni and cheese and Mannino special (which is a combination) It's literally so good that if you just got cheese and no other toppings it would still be so satisfying but it was even that much better with the fresh toppings and ingredients. The workers are hard-working, tossing dough right in front of you. The sitting area is small, like 3-4 booths. The restaurant shares parking with other establishments so it's pretty full and on a friday night, it was busy with other customers going in and out. Highly recommend. My husband & I have been in Florida for 13 yrs & believe it or not this is the best pizza yet ! We've been to many different places for pizza! The only issue we have is the restaurant is very dirty & nothing is more disgusting trying to eat a pizza in a dirty restaurant!! To the owner, please clean up your place PLEASE the bucket on the way out is gross & the restroom is totally disgusting! If you don't eat in there you probably haven't been noticing! We don't do take out because we live in Winter Haven/ lake Wales which is a ways out! ! Also the paper plates they give you rip with one cut of a knife! I don't really go out of my way to do reviews, but this place should be reviewed. Portions were good and we got it quick. Came here, craving spaghetti, I know I could have went home and made it myself and truthfully I should have. I got a spaghetti with "meat sauce" instead I got spaghetti noodles, with cut up sausage gyro meat added on top, I'll include a picture just in case you don't believe me. My husband got a flavorless sub. We also got Mozzarella sticks soggy but the best thing about our meal after we drenched them in marinara. Worst $30 ever spent. read more

Amazing pizza! Order to go for the family on Friday. Mannino Pizza is similar to New York Taste and style. The beef patties are delicious, and the slices are great as well. Everything is made fresh. I haven't tried everything yet but I might make it my goal. Good place for takeout!! read more

Tonight was pizza night and can tell you this was our best choice yet. I have rated many local pizza establishments but none compare to this. New York pizza at it's finest. Doesn't get any better ranks with the best Sal's, Ray's you name it. Perfect foldable crust great fresh toppings and excellent sauce/crust. Tucked away behind the 7-eleven at Posner Park. When your in the mood for pizza look no further well worth the drive. Owners were very nice and you could tell New York was there home place. Every time I think I've found my little pizza shop here in the Orlando area, I become convinced that the owner and his marvelous skills have finally arrived. Here I get convinced that Mannino came direct from the boat to Davenport, with his pizza ovens and secret recipes. Oh man I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Couldn't wait until I could return for another wonderful pizza. So what happens, I get to the store to find out Mannino sold the shop. Some new owner is now throwing pies and slapping all kinds of strange stuff on offerings never seen north of Costa Rica. Sorry not my favorite anymore. Located in a small strip mall, tucked behind a country and western store, Manning's has a few booths for eating in, but primarily offer take out. The wings and steak Stromboli were also very good. The pizza were ordered with extra pepperoni but when we picked them up, there were very few pepperonis at all. The mozzarella sticks were tasteless and burnt while the garlic knots were actually garlic NOTS. we will never order from this place again. Having grown up in NY, I've struggled to find a pizza place that comes close. Today I walked in the door and saw pizza by the slice and knew I was home! It was every bit as good as Authentic NY pizza- the crust was tender and thin, the flavor of the sauce was just right and the cheese was stringy. It's right across the street from the Posner Village Mall behind the 7-11. It's not much to look at and has very little seating but the pizza was incredible. I'm probably going back tomorrow to try spaghetti with either meatballs or red clam sauce. I'm a 20 minute drive but it's worth it Update: I went back the next day and got a few different dishes to try. The baked ziti with ricotta was incredible- so rich and flavorful. The portion was big enough to share. I ordered a side of meatballs and they were excellent too. I cut one up and added it to my baked ziti and it made it even better. The third thing I tried was spaghetti in red clam sauce- this I did not care for. The clam sauce didn't taste at all like what I was used to getting in NY. It was bland, needed spices and Parmesan cheese. It might just be a personal preference thing but I won't order it again. I can't wait to try a few other dishes. read more

Mediocre pizza, dirty restaurant and horrible staff. Was quoted 35 minutes for 2 pizzas when the place was empty and only 2 orders ahead of me. Pizza guy is rude and un-sanitary. After witnessing the disgusting habits of the staff, I tried to get my money back and they refused to refund me. Is this place under new ownership? This used to be a descent place and worth the trip. They get decent reviews due to the lack of good pizza options in the area. No competition does not mean the pizza is good. Do not waste your time or money. read more
