Service is slow and needs improvement. Our server is a trainee, kudos to him though as the regular staff like to congregate by empty tables. Most of the featured items on the menu are not available and it's only 11:30 am, an hour and a half after opening at 10 am. Food- Crispy Kare-Kare- 3.5 stars- (would've been higher were it not salty)- Deep fried pork hock in thickened peanut and curry gravy with green beans, eggplant (aubergine) and puso de saging (heart of the banana flower) with a side of sauteed shrimp paste. Crispy pata- 3.5 stars- (again salty) Deep fried pork hock with papaya salad. Crispy garlic Adobong Kang-kong- 4 stars Water cress in chicken adobo with lots of crispy garlic. It's a rarity that I give out 4 stars for any kind of adobo. This flavor is so reminiscent of my childhood love of my grandma's cooking. read more
