It is a department store having great super market on the basement level and good food court on the 5th floor (it says restaurant on the directory). It is very reasonable and lots of options for salad, desserts and fresh fruit juices. They offer three sizes at different prices. You can choose portion size too! On 4th floor, you can find some Switzerland souvenirs and cute accessories/toys. On basement level, there are salad bar and bakery and supermarket. Prices are good (a little cheaper than Coop store or other supermarket). PS: Dairy stuff, chocolate and bread are so good and cheap! Get some!!!

Manor is a department store of similar style/quality as Macy's (USA) or John Lewis (UK) BUT in the basement there is a grocery store/food hall that is simply amazing!! What's most amazing is it really can be your everyday place to shop - but in addition to your onions, potatoes, juice, milk, flour, cleaning supplies..... there is also an astounding selection of cheeses, meats, poultry, fish, fresh bakery for breads and cakes and a small café with pizzas, salads, stir-fry's (a bigger café is on the top floor). There is a good selection of organic produce (labelled BIO), and most of the fruit and veg are local and very seasonal. In the US and UK I got used to having access to pretty much anything at any time of the year, so the seasonality was a bit strange at first but now I look forward to changes in produce as the year progresses. Besides the cheese.... I mean food, there is a good selection of accessories (I LOVE tights and nearly passed out when I saw the selection), clothing for all the family, beautiful home goods, and a good selection of electronics. Prices are, well, Swiss but overall its not too bad and twice a year (Jan and July) there are really good sales. Maybe being within walking distance wasn't such a good idea..... ;-)

High end merchandise, friendly staff, and ample areas to roam about as you take in the beauty of this store. We ended up in the area that sells food, wines, and cheeses. WOW is all that I can say. Each item seems as though it is was hand polished, set down with precision, only waiting for you to pick it up and place it in your basket. The cheese, chocolates, wines, all so spectacular in their own right. No on argues that this store is more expensive than others such as COOP, or Migros, but they are in different leagues. The wine department has a beautiful assortment of wines, liquors, and spirits with very thoughtful associates able to answer many questions. We enjoyed this very much. This store is designed for those who are able to spend their money without worrying about what the bill looks like. With that being said, we walked out without buying anything as we just started our day in Zurich. This store is mesmerizing, you must stop in and appreciate its beauty, even if you don't plan on buying anything. It is simply a treat.

When I come…read morehere, it's mostly for the impressive food market in the sub-level, which might be overlooked if you're a first-time visitor. The products they sell there are fresh, tasty and wonderfully displayed. They got lots of import stuff, so if you look for something rare, this might be the place to get it. Besides a nice selection of fruit, veggies, meat, fish and seafood they also got a great selection of cheeses (Swiss and Import). You can sample some if you're honestly interested in buying. There's also a nice Bar in the middle, if you feel like having some oysters and Champagne (or other items). Besides that they have a great alcohol section. All kinds of Whiskey, Rum, Tequila or any other booze. And more importantly: a great range of wines! Right now I'm really into their "Buglioni Amarone", the Californian "Bogle Phantom" or the divine Californian "Caymus" Cabernet Sauvignon. If you are looking for some fancy but heavenly salmon, you should try some of their "Balik" Salmon. Best I've ever had. About 50CHF, but worth every buck. This is really the place to go when I look for some unusual, but great food items. The rest of the store is fine with the clothing section, toys, make-up, perfumes, jewelery, accessories, electronics our household products. A real restaurant with some nice views is on the top floor. They have nice christmas decorations for sale in the holiday season as well, but it's the food market which makes this place. Love it!

It's a huge department store in the city center of Zurich with floors of everything from fashion to food. I only visited the food department which is located on the lower level so I can only describe my experience there. There are rows of foods from around the world and a large section of wines from around the world. They also have a decent Swiss wine section. The cheese humidor here is worth just popping into. It had the most amazing variety of cheeses from around the world. The fresh produce is also of the highest quality. There are a handful of restaurants in here serving cuisines from different parts of the world. We visited one called Nippon Sushi and the chef there made us an Omakase menu comprised of the chefs selection of sushi on the day. It was amazingly good and super fresh. I'm glad I found a Groupon for a fantastic meal for two. Afterward, I went across to Mövenpick to sample a variety of red wines before picking out a lovely bottle from Chile. It's self-service, so you can pour yourself whatever you want to taste from all the bottles on display. At the register, I suddenly remembered that I had some UBS Keyclub points to redeem, so I was able to knock off CHF 20 from the purchase price. Awesome. Then I went upstairs to the always busy m.a.c. cosmetics counter, but a sales associate was quick to help me with my purchase, and then I was merrily on my way. Always an awesome experience at this upscale department store, but be prepared to shell out some big bucks.
