At this point, I'm just going to make something on my own to fix the bed... but can't in good conscious recommend Scandinavian Designs for the lack of follow through.

The owners Kathleen and Michael are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable about their products- from the history and materials to technique. I particularly loved the nomadic rugs- simpler design but extensive in technique. There are even rugs that have designs of women with hands on their hips to symbolize empowerment of women. Love that! Depending on your budget, rugs range as low as $150 to upwards of 2000+. Of course I fell in love with a nomadic rug I can't afford, but I can absolutely appreciate. Kathleen gave my husband and I a tour of the merchandise, including two additional large back rooms. They also provide rug repair services. Fun fact- the backroom was part of JC Penny's once upon a time.

So many household interior decor items, beddings, pillows, paintings, etc. Very seasonal so easy to shop for holidays. We saw so many Halloween, Thanksgiving, Autumn and Christmas decorations when we visited. I can't wait to visit another HomeGoods, but nearer me. Located inside the Renaissance Creek Shopping Center on Sierra College Blvd.

There's plenty of parking available in the lot and the store is very large. Right now they have all of their holiday items out including candy, treats, ornaments, decorations, and more. A good portion of the store is dedicated to these specialty items right now. I did a quick loop and grabbed some World Market brand olives (they're great) along with some seasonal candies to use as small presents since I don't always get the chance to shop without my significant other. I decided not to go overboard this visit and went to the checkout. It was a Tuesday afternoon, but I think they must not have had enough employees in for the day because there was one poor employee at the register with a line of people. It looks like they have capacity for six check out stations but only had the one open. I ended up spending more time in line than I did shopping and made the mistake of picking up a couple more items near the checkout line without having a basket to hold them. Next time I'll grab a basket. Overall it's a nice store with a large selection, just be ready to wait in line for a while.

First, I checked Bed, Bath, And Beyond which is next door to World Market; however, their inventory lacked EVERYTHING what I needed or wanted-sad . . . Next~Let's sashay checking World Market's inventory: While perusing World Market, I must first stop and taste the coffee and tea brewing . . . Lovely. Afterwards, cruise towards the left rear of World Market checking the current wine and food in stock. Proceed towards the right side of World Market investigating all the furnishings then, checking the QC for clothing and bath products. What are these I noticed from the corner of my POV???? Ahhhhh~The six-foot, cotton, no rubber backing, bathroom runners I have searched countless stores and online are HERE-EUREKA: Best of all, none of the bathroom runners were made in China~SCORE . . . I purchased two six-foot, cotton, no rubber backing, bathroom runners and two three-foot cotton, no rubber backing throw rugs, too . . . These are MINE now~lol!

My experience in this store was unwelcoming and cold. I was not greeted when I entered the store, I greeted everyone instead as I'm that kind of person. I didn't take anything to that but then it got weird. Seems like a family business. The first worker I talked to it looked like he was helping someone else so then I spoke to another worker.. I went through the prices of the rugs, I got to the $120 pile of rugs and chose a color that matched best with my living room. I said "yes, this will be perfect". The worker that was helping me then walks away back to the front desk. I thought he was doing something on his computer for me to obtain the rug.. I waited a couple of minutes then went to the desk and asked "Is the rug available can I have that rug, do you have to weigh it or something?" The worker laughed "what are you talking about, why would we have to weigh it". Well it was awkward that it seemed he didn't want to finish the transaction with me, I didn't feel welcomed at all. I told the worker that I will pay for the rug and go.. He stated that he would have his associates pack up the rug. Why would I want to support a business that doesn't even feel like they want my business???? I know right?! I had my family in there and they seen cold stares and people mugging them.. I gathered my family, paid for the rug $129.30 after debit card tax. I was told to bring my car to the front so the rug can be put into my trunk.. I waited for nearly 15 minutes went back inside as my family was waiting in the car and I just saw the associates standing around. I was about to pick up the rug myself and put it in my own car then the associates in the store proceeded to put the rug into my car... Horrible experience and I will never return, I am a local and didn't feel welcomed at all.. I'm sure that means nothing to them but anyways Beautiful art made in this building though but I'll take my money elsewhere.

They were clear on what work would need to be done or what they anticipated. They made sure to do quality work, not risking future moisture issues or leveling issues. They were very easy to coordinate and work with. The crew was professional and cleaned up well. We felt that their prices were fair for the quality of the job. Based on that experience we chose to use 916 again when we needed carpet. Again they were very flexible, working with us to be able to schedule while trying to close on the new house. The crew was also professional and the job turned out great. We really love the new carpet. We would highly recommend 916 floors!

He was super friendly-one if the nicest guys we've met in a long time! He gave us a great price on a good quality carpet and had it installed in a little over a week after we bought it. The two installers were both very efficient and did a great install. Cleaned up thoroughly after as well! Rick's wife, Donna, is also super friendly. After the headaches of dealing with the big box stores, this was a very easy and satisfying experience! Well probably be looking to them to install new laminate flooring by years end.

I'm so glad we did because Anthony was such great help, he was very professional and courteous, he took time out of his day and stayed after hours so we could decide on the color and type of carpet we wanted. Carpet Discounters did such a great job! I'm so glad we went with them and we couldn't be more happier with our plush carpet and we saved a lot more money instead of going with Hime Depot!
