This is an amazing pharmacy! They don't have a regular pharmacist which I think causes some confusion and is pretty frustrating. Overall, they do a good job. You can tell that the people really care about you! They were super fast to get my prescription filled and did great at clarifying things too. It's great having a pharmacy in a small town that's locally owned, instead of a big timer like walmart. Because they're smaller, they didn't have one of my prescriptions but they got it in the next day for me - which was fine. I think if I'd called in earlier, they would have had it ready. The people who work there are nice and do their job but one must know that if you purchase a medication, you cannot return it. It is against the law to do so. This is a policy that should be stated up front; perhaps with a sign by the register! Also, it is important for the person selling the product to ask the customer if they want a consultation with the pharmacist; especially if it is a new medication. The customer should ask questions about the side effects or possible adverse reactions before you buy it. One could ask to see the enclosed paper and also check for any boxed warnings BEFORE you purchase it. After you pay, it may be too late to refuse it. The consultation I received was not adequate. The woman pharmacist did not mention any of the warnings. I realize it is not in their interest to do so but it is in the interest of the safety of the customer. If they want people to return to their pharmacy they should be very up front about any warnings. Also, it is my experience that most doctors get very busy and do not consider that their patient might be allergic or have a problem with the medication. They are not careful enough and just rush on to their next patient. The pharmacist is just one link in the chain. read more
