We also bought a four pack of their Christmas style beer. Perfect replacement for a dessert wine in my opinion, and I think the owner mentioned something about placing third in the world with that particular recipe. Going to pressure the parents in-law (Port Macquarie locals) to pick some more up for us. They've also just shipped some double IPA's to some bars in Sydney. It was made to order and they didn't have any remaining to taste or buy. Such a pity. However she informed us it might be in production soon (on a small scale). Honestly I don't know what's happened but the food is now ordinary at best and the prices are exorbitant for the tiny servings. You know that feeling when your food is awful and you check the place online only to see a load of very recent, very negative reviews? Well that's the Beach House. With so many other great options in the area I don't think it'll be long before the beach house is forced to get new management and get back to what it used to be. Whoever is running the place now is doing an atrocious job.
