GREAT STOP There are…read moresome rules to follow when on a road trip especially with pit stops. Is the location easy to get to off and back onto the highway? Does it have cheap gas? Does it have snacks? Does it have a bathroom? These are the essential fundamentals of every good stop. I will tell you that this location covers all of those important bases. We were heading towards Chattanooga and I saw the gas advertised for $2.32 which was a great price. I'm glad I stopped because every gas station after that was almost 20 cents higher. I was really happy with the price we got for the gas, in fact it was the cheapest gas we got since starting in Chicago. This place is right off of the Highway which makes for a super fast pit stop. I don't want to drive more then a mile off of the exit because that just adds a ton of time to the drive especially with stop lights. While I was filling up the gas there was a giant poster advertising "Hand Rolled Burritos"! What? Come on! The girls went in first to the bathroom and reported back to me that they didn't see any hand rolling going on. What? Could the poster be all lies? When I went in to use the bathroom I saw about 6 burritos wrapped and sitting in the warmer, so they were ready to grab and go but no live hand rolling was seen. I did see one of the cook's in the Speedy Cafe actually making a pizza by hand. I thought to myself that was much better then a frozen microwave pizza. I didn't order any food because I typically don't order any of that stuff in a gas station. I've been tempted by the roller Dogs at many gas stations but I've held strong to not order them. This place has a giant Beer Cave which is literally cool but not when you're driving. So if your are local then stop in and grab your drink here. I was impressed by the soda machine. I don't drink pop anymore but was amazed with the sizes of the cups. I saw a giant 54 ouncer ready to be filled with soda or a slurpee. That's a lot of liquid. If I drank that if be stopping at the next rest area up the road. I will say that the Men's bathroom did have the smell of a urine filled subway station. I'd recommend a bleach dousing in here. Anyone listening on staff. I'd highly recommend you treat this room as a "Dateline" episode where you're trying to cover up a crime. This place is a great stop for some cheap gas. You'll be off and on the highway in no time at all. I love it when a plan comes together.

They immediately jumped in to stay and help. Within 30 minutes, they had identified the leak, patched it, and had us on our way back to our hotel. The guys there were friendly and efficient, and price was very reasonable. So lucky to have driven past in our moment of need!

I don't price shop very much but I'm certain I could probably find somewhere cheaper, but I'm paying for convenience more than anything, they're not far from my house, so they are a no-brain choice. Having said that, I will never take my vehicle to them again. Every time I've patronized their business they present me with the little credit card terminal to pay for the service and it is on a screen asking how much of a tip I want to leave. The choices are 15%, 20%, 25%, Custom and none. I resent the pressure to give a tip for a service like this. (BTW, you don't get the pressure if you say you're going to pay cash.) It's not like I'm tipping a waitress at Cracker Barrel who works primarily for tips. I'm expected to leave a tip for a business who provided adequate service for their primary function? Never again.

The tire delivery truck got stuck in traffic and the store owners, Bradley & Kellie, stayed over after closing time to get the tires and get my wife's car fixed. They went the extra mile to get my wife's car for her and they're very much appreciated for that.

After some googling, we discovered that it is indeed possible to put more gas in a tank than the tank's stated capacity, so I've upgraded the rating to 4 stars because the price/gal was the lowest of multiple stations at this junction. But by this point I was already committed, so I went on in. Service was friendly. They were not busy, so I got my drink fairly quickly. Space was clean and well laid out for an in-store location. Overall, wasn't what I was expecting, but it scratched the itch on my drive!
