So today, after a lovely walk through the stunningly coloured leaves of Donadea Forest, we headed straight for this place. And for one hour on a Sunday afternoon, it felt like we were teleported to a cute little creperie on a narrow street corner of Montmartre. French music played in the background, pictures of Paris lined the walls, the owner had a strong French accent, and a couple of Christmas decorations and lights added to the ambience. I was delighted to be able to order a gluten-free crepe. We both had the Mexican savoury crepe with chicken, goats cheese and spinach. And the gluten-free version tasted great! As we departed, I was told to "have a good day, madame." "Oo-er sacre-coeur," I responded. Well, after I'd shut the door behind me. I shall have to return to sample the chocolate crepe. I initially thought it looked really good but I soon realised the crepe itself was extremely oily, like it was dripping out the bottom! Maybe due to the tomatoes? There was very little filling, it wasn't til I got near the bottom that I even found any of the offending tomatoes, and very little flavour in general. I think it cost about 7 euro. I didn't expect it to be amazing... and it wasn't! Probably wouldn't bother next time.
