Brownie

Great service, we got a table by the window without a reservation but obviously that is not guaranteed. The view was incredible especially at sunset with the mountains. The wait was a pretty long and even longer for some of the other customers. The food was definitely worth the wait though. I got the fried chicken plate with Mac and cheese and a side salad. The chicken was nice and crisp and the Mac and cheese was very good and creamy. I also got the brownie sundae and it was well worth the 10 dollars. Overall if you are staying at the lodge or camping here I would definitely recommend it.

We were camping at the park and decided we would plan for one meal out. There is really nothing else within 10 to 12 miles from here, and we thought we would walk over to the lodge and have the dinner buffet and it would be a little different, since we normally just cook at the campsite. Anyway, it's buffet only on the weekend, as others have mentioned. Fried chicken was ok and there was a pork Wellington that was ok- definitely don't forget to cover it in gravy as it's very dry. Everything else is what you'd get at a Golden Corral and tastes similar- Mac and cheese, a couple soups that were passable, salad bar; sticky mashed potatoes and roasted veggies. There were two adults and two teenagers, they had water, I had one glass of wine and hubby had one beer and the bill was $88. Ouch. Yes the view is nice, but for these prices they should hire a decent chef. I cannot imagine what the people staying in the hotel do for meals 3x a day unless you are willing to drive 30 mins each way? Service was fine- friendly. The campground, on the other hand, is very nice and I shall just stick with cooking our meals from here :)

A la carte menu this morning includes two eggs your way with many sides, including fresh fruit and wheat toast.

We had a wonderful Sunday morning breakfast with an astonishing view. Our waitress, Michelle, was very attentive and the food was delicious!

We are in our 2nd of a 3 night stay and have had three meals at the reataurant . It has all been buffet style but good options. I am weary in this current environment with the pandemic to eat buffet style, but the area is kept very clean with the majority of items covered. They have gloves and sanitizer in several areas. So you can clean hands after using serving utensils. I eat plant based and have been able to eat good salads, vegetables, soups and pasta. The staff has been so friendly as well.

The views are absolutely amazing. The food was buffet style and was fine, nothing special, but we enjoyed the food. The service was good and they have a short list of decent wines and a small selection of other alcohol. You do dinner here for the view.

Our table was lovely and private, perfect for heartfelt conversation, and our server, Bailey, was cheerful as always and so accommodating. We started with mussels and the Caesar salad. Both were good, but I can't stop thinking about the buttery deliciousness of the mussels and broth. Honestly, the best I've ever had. My husband and I had the fish and chips: steel-head trout, lightly battered and fried with tartar sauce and malt vinegar. So good! Our daughter had the ribeye and it was out of this world. Perfectly cooked to medium rare, nice sear on the outside and a gorgeous red center. Easily the best steak my daughter and husband (couldn't resist a taste) had ever had. The garlic compound butter is a must-have. Perfect compliment to the steak. We foolishly ended with an incredibly decadent dessert and it, too, was amazing! A chocolate brownie with ice cream and rum sauce . . . We fought over it even though we were so full after the great dinner. We love Home. A wonderful relaxing dinner, a wonderful special occasion place, or a great place to try their take-out menu, we are so lucky to have Home so near our community. Service is always impeccable and the food meets most exacting standards.

We came for their Easter brunch and had a delightful time! Our server, Joshua, was wonderful and all the staff seemed to be enjoying their day as well. The chef was closely monitoring every station to be sure each dish was replenished quickly, and the omelette and carving stations were staffed by very cheerful employees, which made the day all the more festive because of it! And the food . . . So good! None of the usual tasteless buffet food found in many other restaurants, this was truly delicious . We began with a field green salad with croutons and a nice charcuterie board with yummy prosciutto, black olives, cornichon, goat cheese, and fresh buffalo mozzarella. Steamed shrimp with tasty cocktail sauce and incredibly delicious smoked salmon, complete with tangy capers. There were two soup choices and we had the corn and crab bisque. . . delicious as well! Lunch offerings included mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and fresh steamed green beans and carrots. Next were the protein choices, which included lemon salmon, a gorgeous prime rib with horseradish sauce, and baked ham. To round out breakfast, there was an omelette station ( delicious) and eggs Benedict. Finally, a groaning dessert table with carrot cake, delightfully tangy key lime pie, coconut cake, chocolate torte, and red velvet cake. This was one of the nicest holiday buffets we've ever attended. It was busy but not crowded (so nice they took reservations) like so many Atlanta restaurants tend to be. The view is unmatched and the service and general atmosphere are top notch. We plan to be back for Mother's Day!

I wanted to try their pancakes but didn't want a full stack, and our server Robin was wonderful in recommending the Sweet Start. One thing we really appreciated is that all breakfast entrees include coffee or tea, and the prices are already very reasonable. We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that even though we ordered specialty coffees, we could still enjoy complimentary refills of regular coffee. The restaurant has a charming and unique atmosphere, with every table looking a little different from the next. For my meal, I ordered the Sweet Start, which included one pancake, eggs, and bacon. I also appreciated the transparency from the staff. When I asked for an extra serving of their homemade pecan butter, I was informed upfront that there would be an additional charge....a level of honesty that's surprisingly rare these days. My husband ordered the Banana Nut French Toast comes with homemade whipped cream and homemade pecan butter, which also came with bacon. He added a side of eggs as well. Everything was delicious. I'm especially particular about pancakes, and I can honestly say they serve some of the best pancakes I've had. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and what stood out most was how genuinely happy all the staff seemed to be. It created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely return the next time we're in the area.
