Hungry and in the Mill Park area? Head to Tian's Sushi and Noodle Bar…read more Tian's may be located behind Hungry Jacks in a tiny row of nondescript stores but that shouldn't deter you. You are welcomed warmly by staff even on your first visit and the food will make you return time and time again. They make sushi to order which ensures it is as fresh as possible, in fact it is the freshest and tastiest sushi I have had, and I have tried a lot. The vegetarian gyoza's make a great entree but be warned, you will want more then one serving. The noodle servings are generous and freshly made, the Singapore noodles filled with tasty ingredients including fresh and plentiful prawns. No matter how much you gorge yourself you feel vaguely healthy, despite being at bursting point. This is the antidote to greasy food court noodles. Sure the decor is noodle shop standard no-frills but it is immaculately clean so what else could you want? Great value, great service and fresh and good quality food. Eat in or take away but just make sure you eat here.

The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is delicious and affordable. I will say the interior of the restaurant itself is a little grim, though it is very clean it's not a very inviting place to sit and eat your lunch or catch up with friends over dinner. They excel when it comes to take away (pick up) great food at a very affordable price!

Nonetheless Degani is one of the only places around uni hill for breakfast. This place is always busy when I walk by, and even busy today. A downside to this is that it can get very loud and hard to have a conversation even at a 4 person table. And unfortunately being a cafe with a door to the outside there are some unpleasant seating positions when the doors open and Mr Breeze comes in. As far as food is concerned the portion sizes are quite enormous. Most savoury breakfast items come with 2 massive pieces of toast (far too much in my opinion). I ordered the Chef's special breaky, and my friends ordered the vegetarian breakfast and the hotcakes with banana. The flavours were alright, the feta in my meal was very strong and at times too overpowering for the balance of the meal. I wasn't a fan of the hotcake texture but props to soaking them in syrup, for once I thought there was too much haha Staff were a bit all over the place, we were asked by 3 different servers if we wanted to order and when our food was being delivered, instead of pancakes my friend received a risotto. This mistake was quickly rectified. All in all its just another Degani. Nothing special about it. Also they don't split bills which is annoying in this day and age and especially considering the popularity of the venue with the local people.

Cakes are $7-$8 per piece, and they don't put price tag on display so you need to ask the staffs there. There were one time I was there to order just one piece of cake, the staffs there were too busy talking to each other and didn't bother to serve me! Bad impression, I have not going back since then!
