I ended up buying a lovely modern mirror from the young girl who owns the shop who was very helpful staying open late whilst my husband came to collect the mirror in his van. The prices are sensible - only marginally more expensive than B&Q in most cases (and much cheaper overall when you consider that you don't have to drive that far). This store and its section in Debenhams are both excellent. The prices may be on the higher side…read more(sometimes £60 for an evening wear top), but the materials are high quality and last for a long time, so you do get what you pay for. The designs, cut and colours of the clothes are always unique but accessible, so you feel like you're wearing something high-fashion in that it's different from other stores, but without such a ridiculous price tag. The shoes and accessories aren't bad either, but the absolute best thing to go shopping there for are the underwear and socks - they often have really cute designs on them (pandas, cartoon policemen etc) and always have offers if you buy in bulk (3 for £7 etc). The staff are aways really helpful - my Dad said he had printed off a 30-page (heh heh) wishlist of clothes from their website that I wanted for Christmas, and one of the sales assistants gladly took him round the shop and helped him find whatever they had in stock - and this was on Christmas Eve!
