The free spots are usually full, with the exception of one or two, due to locals parking their trucks in them. This location is new. The inside is very clean and well organized. The restrooms are fairly clean compared to most. This is not a truckstop. There are no driver amenities. No showers, no laundry, and no driver's lounge. Only parking and diesel fuel. Happy to have the parking and food though! The food options are okay. They have several options of wings, fresh pizza, roller grill, and Krispy Kreme donuts. There's also cold sandwiches, wraps, fruit, and an ice cream bar. There's also a Waffle House, Arby's, and a McDonald's within walking distance. It is busy in the mornings but the staff was pleasant and keeping the line moving. The young lady at night had almost no customers and treated us like an inconvenience even though we spent $60 on food and misc. Shame on her.

I used to frequent the Hwy. 72 for the very purpose of clean bathrooms and was willing to pay higher prices for fuel as it was on my direct path home. Today, I stopped into this location and the young lady was swamped with customers all the way to the door. No fault of her own. More troubling was the fact that as soon as I walked into the restroom, my foot felt a crunch beneath it. To my shock was a dirty, used needle. Thank God, I was wearing boots. I walked in to water on the floor by the soda fountain which was closed I guess due to the water on the floor. I walked around the puddle thinking someone should clean that up to prevent folks from slipping and to keep the spread of water to a minimum. There were three employees at the registers and one by the drink coolers so they did have more than two employees in the store. The great news is the outdoor printers worked at the gas pump! It was very crowded inside and outside. Be careful walking in the parking lot.

I told that angry female at the register, its ok & *politely* thanked her, despite her (unwarranted) hostile feelings toward me prior to this visit. Partly because its my nature to be polite, but also to invalidate her hate. Shes just a stranger; a literal NO body... as I *should* be to her since weve never had conflict from my end prior (im in the industry. So I get it. But also, I DONT KNOW THIS LADY!) I debated putting the btl back in the cooler myself but when she angrily snapped & said, "Ill put it back!" (Mind you.. I. Didnt. Ask.) Kindness was out of the question for me.
