The Gas prices are always high by .10 cents since I moved out here in 1992, probably because it is the only station on this corner ! ? The touchless Car Wash is always broke down all times of the year and seasons so its closed for repairs. When it is open for a touchless car wash, prices are reasonable and competitive yet the RINSE cycle is terrible therefore after the drying cycle I always pull over to the side to wipe off my SUV myself and there's soap always on the back windows and lift gate and inside that is unacceptable. This morning at 11:00 a.m. I made a quick stop here since my back passenger tire was at 30 # instead of 35#, so I needed to add some air. The machine is NOT free as in my photo but .75 cents for a minute. There are vacuums as well next to the air machines. I went inside the building to ask for free air or the 3 quarters to use for the machine and was told NO with some other comments from the owner at the counter which I could not understand. The convenience store inside is huge with hot and cold foods, drinks and much more like a 7-11. I did not buy anything but saw a lot. I will not support this gas service center at all let alone Mobil.

The store is about the same size as any typical 7 eleven chain. Overall, not bad if you want to grab a quick snack. They also have a gas station there so you can grab a quick snack while fueling up. I moved out here in Macomb back in September 1992 years ago when it was a BP GAS station. (Amoco) I rotate my gas purchases whether it's Marathon, Mobil, Kroger or Speedway. This morning at 6:15 AM, the gas price was 2.67 per gallon for regular when spouse filled up his SUV in route to work. There are many gas pumps facing Hayes and also facing Hall Road for one's use . I did not walk inside to make a purchase for anything but it's a very big store, Party Store you could say since many products are probably inside to shop for. The outside has signs to advertise with alcohol, beverages, hot or cold along with cigarettes, cigars, and food items when in a hurry on the road to grab and go snacks ! It's connected to the Lakeside Auto Service Center. Also years ago there used to be a sit in, drive-up car wash in which I do remember using weekly, but it's gone. If you're driving or cruising on M59 / Hall Road and you're a Marathon gas supporter, buy it here. The price can be competitive sometimes $0.03 cheaper than the gas station across the street. :) This gas station and auto service business sits at the corner near MEIJER food store along with Boston Pizza, Sonic food and Tim Hortons. Maybe the next time I purchase gas here I will step inside for a hot or cold beverage and a snack, take and add photos of my venture.

I'll go to Costco for gas and groceries it is cheaper on both there. I just want to bring this to there attention, everyone I have talked to feel the same. If you shop at Kroger, you can save money on gas. Also, this location isn't usually too busy compared to other Krogers and Meijer. Best part is shopping and stopping for gas before heading home. The month of May and June for regular gas has increased to hit a price of $5.00 or more due to economic and political issues in my thoughts. I myself as well as other drivers commuting daily need gas for their vehicle weekly or if not then on a monthly basis. I can always rely on this location on Hayes Rd at 23 Mile compared to other Kroger Fuel locations within a 15 mile radius to post a lower price. Since I am a Kroger shopper I can save from .10 cents per gallon to fill up or my highest savings was .70 cents off a gallon. My last fill up here was on Wednesday, 6/29/2022 in which the posted price was $4.74 for regular. At the end of month is when a Kroger customer cashes in so then my fill price was $4.34 per gallon. I was happy to fill up for $50.00 compared to 5 other Kroger Fuel stations that were higher priced per Gas Buddy. This location is always clean in the areas when fueling up along with the garbage cans. I have noticed stocked beverages and other items needed at the cashier window. The bay areas with numbered pumps are always properly working and of course whatever employee working at the window is attentive and friendly. A few times I met them at the window when the gas pump machine didn't print out my paid credit card receipt. This Kroger Fuel Station #737 can be very busy on Wednesday's when prices are lower or busy at the end of the month naturally when Kroger customers cash in their points as I do. (Photos Attached are currently for the year 2022 and Wow also the year of 2021 which was extremely lower gas prices. What a comparison that's for sure!! I can review again to say that from my previous Fall review in 2018 with four stars, I can now up report this Kroger Fuel Station in Shelby it up to five stars !
