The the Town fishmongers. There is also a fish suppliers just in the edge of the Port out of the centre of town off the beaten trap. It's worth a visit because the price is not inflated and have a wide range of fish and sea food along with some ready for table prepared items, good for dinner parties. They also sell a jar of fish soup. For a guide on price they are a little more than the Fish wives but a lot cheaper than the high street fish mongers. Highg street price for the soup was around 7 euro, Trident sold it for 4 Euro 80.

My grandparents took me to this fishmonger as a child - it's the first one I know, and to this date, the most well stocked fishmonger I've ever been to (no slight to Pike Place Market - there are good fisheries there as well - but this one beats it). The fishing boats arrive daily - with rich bounties. most of what is sold here was brought in by one of the many colorful fishing boats in the harbor. Such fishmongers dot the coastline of France, for sure, but this one is and always has been special to me. Oh - and they generally have sea urchin. THAT is a big deal!
