After deboarding the train and walking through some cute shops…read morein downtown Annecy, emerging into the old town area with all the vibrant sounds, smells, sights, free tastes, variety and colors was such a delight. I tried some of the best salami I've ever had in my life and all the cheeses and everything was divine. I could not get over how much variety there was and I really wish I took more photos of the stand standouts but really the experience as a whole was one of my favorite memories of exploring this beautiful area. Would 100% recommend and return again!

I've been to about two others, but I really do think this is the best. There is a ton of stuff and it is open 6 days a week. I'm also very excited because it is a few blocks from my house. They definitely have the largest selection by far. Can't wait to go for the next 3 months.

There's a great variety of veggies, fruits, meats, cheeses, bakeries, etc as well as a number of notable food stands, including Tibetan, pizza, Vietnamese, Mexican, and a rotisserie. There are also a few tables set up if you want to have lunch outside. Overall, a great atmosphere to do some food shopping and eating.
