    Vodka and cacio e pepe

This restaurant has a really cute ambience/vibe to it. It was easy to get a table walk in. The service was okay, not the best but we weren't expecting much. We ordered the vodka pasta which I'd give a 6/10, it wasn't our favorite. I've had other vodka pastas in LA that have exceeded my standards. Cacio e Pepe was pretty good! Would rate that a solid 8/10. We got Prosecco which was good but served in plastic cups, not glass. Overall a decent place to grab a bite

A cool, vibey hotel restaurant nestled between Silver Lake and Los Feliz. The Italian food is simple and straightforward with good flavors. The Chicken Parmigiana was huge and good to shared. My other favorite dish was the gnocchi that was pillowy. The Arancini had a good kick in the sauce so a nice spice. If you get here earlier in the day you can also lounge at the pool but has to be pre-booked.

We spent our Valentine's Dinner here and while we weren't disappointed, we were also unimpressed. We originally booked our reservation here because of the everyday menu- but upon confirming our reservation they said it was the Prix Fixe Valentine's Menu and we still wanted to try. The restaurant itself is so cute and the staff were so kind and on top of it! We started off with some orange wine and an espresso martini- both delicious. The food is where it started to fall short! The arancini was so good and when the starters/main dishes/dessert came out it was just alright. Nothing with a wow factor like other Prix Fixe Menus. I'm hoping to come back and try their every day menu and hope the food is better! Overall everything was good- not great or perfect! But we still had a lovely time!

Beautiful location! They offer valet parking I'd not there is plenty of street parking. It's gives beach vibes as soon as you enter. Their food is exquisite, the calamari was crunch and hot, the salad had just the right amount of dressing, and the pasta and risotto were delicious.

I visited Marco Polo Trattoria with with a friend; our most fun experience was finding the entrance. The entrance isn't the easiest to find on the street despite being part of a hotel, but... definitely go on the "uphill" side of the street! We were greeted by the hostess and sat fairly quickly - no wait even on a weekend evening. There were only a few tables left, and the atmosphere was quite dim and intimate, the perfect date spot. Though there were many options for water, we went with regular tap, which was still refreshing. For dinner, I had their agnolotti del bosco, which featured a marsala fondue and cheese. The dish was best described like ravioli. The cute rectangular pasta pillows were filled with some of the best seasoned meat I've ever had. The mushrooms? Never knew the name of these, but they were a hit. Overall, I would definitely return to eat here in a heartbeat. Their rotating menu keeps things exciting, and their food was tasty. The portion sizes were towards the petite end, but I do have mixed feelings, since I left satisfied and not bloated.

Delicious food spread. The spaghetti, bread and salad I had.

A Silverlake charm! Located right next to the Silverlake pool and inn, awaits this hidden gem. Marco Polo Trattoria, has classic Italian cuisine authentic to the culture. I ate the spaghetti, devoured their delicious focaccia bread . I went during golden hour and was pleased to take some adorable photos as the sun began to set. Lastly, to my 21 and over friends, I'd like to give a recommendation. The blood orange spritz was an excellent choice that complemented my meal. I didn't really double in dessert, but I guess I'll save that for next time lol!

Arancini -- 10/5. So good!! Only $3 each during happy hour. Pasta -- 2.5/5. Weirdly sweet and unnecessarily heavy on the stomach. I had the mushroom agnolotti.

This is such a cute brunch spot connected to a hotel! One of the biggest complaint is that this is outdoors and there's a tent above you so it can get quite hot really fast- especially in the summertime. We ordered their pancake and the carbonara. Both were really good, but the only con about the carbonara was that it was more greasier than the carbonaras I was used to- but still good. Overall a decent spot!

Espresso martini, east side (with lemon slice) , Hugo (bigger glass)

First time here yesterday, it's located on Santa Monica blvd so be sure to get there earlier we went 8 pm on a Saturday and we got lucky with a spot right on street. I had a reservation so we were immediately sat. The atmosphere had a modern feel and was inviting and mellow. Drinks were delicious, I ordered the eastside with vodka instead of mezcal and an espresso martini. The espresso was very fresh. For dinner we ordered the broccolini (must get this!!!), burrata (it comes with focaccia), and for entree the vodka pasta and ricotta gnocchi. Ricotta gnocchi was insane: salty, meaty, and cheesy; def get this. Dessert was tiramisu, one of the best I've ever had you can tell the espresso is fresh and very high quality. The best part of dinner was the service: the manager Marie was so genuine and checked on us multiple times, you can tell she loves her job and took pride in taking care of the customers. Our server, Leslie, was top tier and made sure all of our needs were met throughout the meal. Def coming back again and gonna check out their happy hour (everyday 3pm-6pm). Anybody deciding to come here will not be disappointed.

10/10 will come back for these .

I stumbled upon this place by chance. The ambiance was fantastic; it wasn't too loud that you couldn't hear your conversation. It's an excellent spot for a romantic date night. The food was incredibly delicious. I particularly enjoyed the oysters and pasta. The service was impeccable; my server Leslie was fantastic. I'll definitely be returning.

I discovered this place two years ago and I've been here a couple of times since then. It's a beautiful, small, and very well-hidden restaurant inside a hotel, but it doesn't feel like it's in a hotel; it feels like it's in a courtyard surrounded by nature. Their menu is small but good. I would recommend this place for a date, for going with friends, or even alone if you're someone who doesn't like crowded places.

We went for happy hour on a Thursday and were seated right away. Ordered from the happy hour menu the calamari, stuffed peppers. a burger to share, and the cocktail of the day, which was the Coastal Spritz. We always have to end the meal with their delicious olive oil cake. Huge thanks to Dezarae for her amazing service!

The bar itself has a cozy atmosphere, and the photo booths are a great touch. We first ordered drinks from a female bartender who was friendly, professional, and served us quickly. The restrooms were clean and spacious. Having only two stalls for such a busy venue isn't ideal, but it could always be worse. Later, we went back to order another round. An older white bartender wearing glasses started serving us, and while he was preparing our drinks, he was also taking another group's order at the same time. I completely understood that since the bar was very busy. We ordered two Whiskey Sours and one of the bar's signature cucumber cocktails. The Whiskey Sours were served in margarita glasses without ice instead of traditional whiskey glasses. I assumed they had simply run out of the proper glassware because the bar was packed, so we didn't complain. The real problem started when it was time to pay. The bartender placed the payment terminal in front of the other group instead of us, and they accidentally paid for our order. Instead of acknowledging that it was his mistake, he immediately acted as if it was somehow our fault. We tried to resolve the situation calmly and even offered to pay the other group's bill and buy them an extra drink to make up for the price difference (their bill was about $31, while ours was around $45). When it came time for us to pay, I chose not to leave a tip because of the multiple mistakes that had already happened. At that point, the bartender completely lost his temper. In the middle of a packed bar, he raised his voice and started yelling at us, saying it was disrespectful not to tip him. He also complained that we had ordered drinks that weren't on the regular menu and that making them had taken him "so much time." As a bartender myself, I know exactly how long it takes to make a Whiskey Sour, and it's certainly not an unusually time-consuming cocktail. If preparing it had been a problem, he could have simply told us before taking our order. He continued shouting that the bar was extremely busy, called our behavior "disrespectful" and "f***ed up," and finally told us he would never serve us again. We were honestly shocked. This was the first time we've ever experienced someone reacting this aggressively simply because we chose not to leave a tip, especially after such poor service. I've worked in customer service for years, and I always tip when I receive good service. I would have had absolutely no problem leaving a generous tip if our experience had been pleasant. After that confrontation, we no longer felt comfortable staying in the bar, so we left immediately with a very negative impression. Looking back, I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. It seems that many of the negative reviews mention the exact same bartender. A truly disappointing experience.
