I most recently stopped in today, and as always it was a solid experience from start to finish. The store is bright, spacious, clean, and well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed without wandering aimlessly. Every employee I've encountered there has been consistently pleasant and helpful. Even at checkout the employees are always so personable, greeting every customer. The produce section is always impressive - everything looks super fresh and well-stocked, with plenty of organic options. I also love to gaze at exotic fruits while shopping. During this trip I picked up some tropical cold pressed juice and WTR MLN WATER. The latter is my addiction, it's watermelon water that's cold pressed. I find it very refreshing and hydrating. I also love coming to this store for their cheese assortment and chocolate. Both have impressive selection and you can never go wrong with any choices. I also prefer this store for Amazon returns when I have them. While there's sometimes a line, I found that returns and refunds are somehow processed faster here than at other locations (such as Rocky River). Only downside: parking can be a bit of a hassle when it's busy (like during the weekend). However, there's so many parking options in the plaza that you'll always find a spot. Overall it's a great spot for high-quality groceries and quick meals on the go.

That wouldn't be so bad, except that there weren't any sales associates around who could open up the glass case for me. I decided to go elsewhere for a can of Krylon instead. Much of the men's underwear was also locked away in a glass case. Not the good moisture-wicking stuff, mind you. It was the cheaper Fruit of the Loom underwear that was locked away, bizarrely enough. Do they really have a problem with people stealing or vandalizing the cheap underwear? And not the more expensive stuff? Again, this wouldn't be a bit deal if a sales associate was available. The grocery selection wasn't great in comparison to the other Walmart locations either. And many of their suitcases had no price tags or price signage available. How do they expect to sell these things? This strikes me as a place where the management has pretty much given up on trying to sell stuff.

First off, walking through the store I could smell weed. And no body was that close to me so I questioned if someone was actually using a pen inside the store. They were prepping for restocking but it was a mess. No order. Employees on the isles didn't greet you, but kept their music playing loudly (loved all the profanity!). And checkout was ridiculous. I was told (after I was already ringing up items) "No self-checkout!" on the self-checkout line that was green. The same person who shouted that, was standing right there as I walked up and started ringing up my items. And I walked past a handful of employees as I made my way back to the exit only to be told when I was almost there "You can't exit that way." Cool cool cool. Poor customer service. Messy store. Avoid it.

People should get a discount for using a self-checkout. Just now and at other times I have gone in there to buy a gift card with cash and I left without purchasing it once I saw that the one checkout line that was open would take me forever to get through at the glacial pace it was moving with many people in it. Meanwhile the four self-checkouts were completely open because everyone else hates them too. I don't put cash in a machine. There's no proof that I put it in except for maybe some surveillance footage that may or may not be in use. And don't even think about going in any store right after work especially on a Friday because it will take forever to get through the lines even though there are multiple cashiers working. That's not how customer service should work.

I remembered that they had a pretty good bakery section and when I was younger we used to pick up slices of Cheesecake Factory desserts here along with candy. We probably spent twenty minutes looking around and were surprised by some of the regional items we found. The grocery store was also clean and well stocked and we were able to navigate it easily and find the sections we were looking for.

I have been going here for years, but ultimately decided to go to another location going forward. My last visit wasn't the best. Inventory: The store recently declined in cleanliness and inventory levels. The coolers have visible product residue and look unkempt. The store has plenty of bare shelves and low inventory on basic items (even bread). There are no totes and only a few plastic freezer bags to carry away your items. Store prices are slowly rising as they elsewhere. Good news? If you love fall, you'll now find cute fall decor (like cozy stools, wicker pumpkins, and fall candles) in AOS. Service: The lines at the store are outrageous. No self-checkout options are available. Employees are quick but not friendly. Parking: Large parking lot is available. Entry and exit into the parking lot gets very jammed. I would recommend visiting only if you have plenty of time to spare and need only the basics. Otherwise, perhaps other ALDI locations would serve you better.

I know that's hard to believe, but yes, I was ready to shop. Mostly, I was checking out what the store offers. I found a luscious bag of Fuji apples for $3.29. Wow, right? After eating a couple from the bag, I now found two that are only halves and rotten. The rest of the bag's contents are sticky and unappetizing. Maybe this will be my only visit?

It appears every food market has at least one knucklehead on board. Btw, no cashiers, self checkout only. The food choices were good and had items not seen much in the area, like the lobster balls I copped. There are lots of tables where you can eat. If I worked nearby and got an hour to grub this would be my main lunch spot. I love the ambiance of the store. Being my first time I navigated each aisle to find out where things were. We had just come from the Yelpies (Yelp Awards) and I was dropping her off at her apartment but then I saw this market on the way so I stopped in. I had been meaning to visit Fairfax Market for a long time now so I'm glad that I finally got to visit. FOOD -- This is a huge grocery store with lots of food and drink options to choose from, such as snacks, meats (chicken, beef, fish), bread, milk, etc. I heard that they even have cooking demonstrations too. What I bought for all under $11 -- a big bunch of bok choy, 2 small stalks of broccoli, a small Arm and Hammer brand toothpaste, bananas, and 2 packages of tea biscuits. The bok choy was delicious that just recently, in April 2026, I drove by Fairfax and almost thought of going in to buy bok choy but I had a long day and I was too tired to stop. SERVICE -- My friend and I were greeted upon walking inside by a friendly security guard. Checking-out was easy and quick. I will be back whenever I am in the area again. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 24/250 total reviews in 2026 - 865 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 13 April 2026
