Opening hours are good and relative to many people living in villages, especially the elderly who would otherwise have to travel. The prices are very good in comparison with larger stores. The staff are always friendly and have time to help with any queries as well as serving customers. The shop is very well laid out and items easily accessible. The Post Office is in a separate area which is well planned so that customers have some privacy when conducting their business.

I had a few dealings with the council over the years. Generally I would say they are ok but, like…read moreany public authority, a bit out of touch. On planning and building control matters they appear to be known for a lack of customer service and I certainly felt that what should have been an integrated approach resulted in different people from the council disagreeing with one another until I said that a way through it should be found. I am also annoyed that we as tax payers funded their new energy efficient offices which are now vacant as they are too expensive! On the plus side, a recent question over council tax was answered and dealt with very promptly.
