So I asked not to use any of those and just file my toes she was not happy. She put me in a broken chair and got annoyed that I was short and couldn't reach where she was trying to paint my toes. Then she proceeded to pull and be aggressive with my feet. Definitely NOT RELAXED I asked for a different person to do my hands.

My German isn't great and i explained that to them- so they would speak slower. I actually conversed with them for a while with my broken German and it made them laugh. I roughly explained all of my bad experiences with nail places and how this place was so clean and nice. They seemed to appreciate the compliments. When you walk in you're greeted with soothing music and an offering of something to drink. I was able to walk in and just needed to come back in an hour. I had a shellac manicure for 20 euro! It wasn't a full on fancy manicure but you can get those too. Rosa was great with my hands. They had 8 spools of colors to choose from and everything around me was super clean and organized. When she was done she gave me a mini hand massage bc I asked for one. You only get those with manicures but she made an exception because I think she liked me! I only paid cash- I didn't pay attention to other payment. Made an appointment for a few weeks too! My nails look great and I highly recommend them!

And the nails - basic mani and pedi are GOOD. I've had bad luck with German nail salons tearing our flesh - so am very happy to report that's not the case here. There's also a woman that does threading. And it's located on a pleasant street which is a nice alternative to the Zeil.

I walked straight past this place initially, as I've always sort of rolled my eyes at overpriced airport mini spas. But ten steps later I thought what the hell, and turned back to have a look. If only I'd discovered it sooner - it's actually towards the end of the shops and next to the gate security check. As it was, I'd spent too much time in duty free, spraying stuff on myself and lingering for free whisky. So with half an hour left to kill, the cute lady said she could do me a shellac manicure in 20 mins for 15 euros - more than you'd pay elsewhere, but my inner monologue swiftly justified it with how great the euro exchange rate is atm! They made me feel like a million dollars in there (cue lots of compliments on what very elegant hands I have which I'll take as genuine ;). I went for a nude colour in the gel and was really happy with how it turned out. I've never been the kind of girl who gets her nails done regularly (and have only had shellac once before in HK out of curiosity and because it was super cheap!) but I think I may have developed a new habit... They also have plenty of massage chairs and other mani pedi services available if you have a bit longer than I did. I would have given them 5 stars just for how lovely they were, but I've already lost one of the gel nails in less than 2wks when she said it'd last 3 (though I probably do a lot more with my hands). It made me feel very jet-set anyway and was the perfect bit of TLC I needed to give myself - and hey, you can't put a price on that :)

BeRelax travel neck pillow…read more Advice: do not purchase the BeRelax neck pillows, the zippers are diffectuous. I've hand washed the pillow cover, however was not able to close the zipper after I put the pillow inside the cover. The sales representative was nice enough to exchange for me, since I still had the receipt, and was able to pass by the same stand, at the same terminal, barely a week after the date of purchase. But,the exchanged pillow has the same problem. At the airport, when I tried to open it and close it, it got stuck. The salesperson said that I have to do it extremely carefully, I did so, and managed to close it. However once back home, I have experienced the same problem: was not able to close the zipper after I have washed the cover. Although, I have carefully hand washed it, and VERY carefully tried to close the zipper. Bottom line, bad zipper quality for the price you pay: 35 EUROS !
