I've never had such a caring, competent and thorough doctor in my life. She's been incredible; doesn't put her hand on the door waiting to say good luck. She actually takes the time to explain and ensure that you understand everything. Her staff are remarkable, as well. We moved up to Rocklin and it is unfortunate, because all of the doctors here put together could not equal the care and concern of Dr. Siksay. I'd just like to figure out a way to continue seeing her for my visits, as it seems a huge waste of my time going to my current ones. Perhaps I can fly down for my appts and stay a day or two. Dr. Siksay is the Goddess of medicine and humanity. In my 22 years in this country she is the first and ONLY highly knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and respectful doctor I have met. Her diagnostics and treatments are always correct. My parents have her as their family doctor for many years and nothing but excellent experience all these years. I recommended her to multiple friends, and Dr. Siksay literally saved lives of two of them by taking the correct path of treatment unlike other doctors whose treatments nearly killed them. It is very sad that there are not many doctors are such professional and knowledgeable as Dr. Siksay. She is incredible! read more

Never have I been so upset over a dr. Horrible bedside manner. Always rushed. Hardly 10 minutes with her and I couldn't go over a few things. I felt so judged. One time she rolled her eyes when I said I was doing a vegan diet. Misdiagnosed for 5 years. Lost my breasts and a lot of time. Yup double masectomy. She didn't even pay attention to my disorder either Treated me like I was nothing. "Its just your period" "it's fine" Yea....i wasn't fine. But I am now and I am mad. I complained for years of being in pain, discomfort and was just shoved away in the recent years. Can't wait to get a new dr and hopefully I can understand them and feel heard. read more

I am downgrading my review to 3 stars based on the last 2 visits w/Dr. Siksay. Dr. Siksay seemed irritable and rushed both times. I don't know what is going on with her, but she needs to dust off and restore her former kind and caring attitude. I also was not treated well by the medical staff. After being ushered into a room, the assistant asked me the reason for my visit. I mentioned a couple of concerns and that I had a few other small issues I wanted to address, too. One of these was getting referrals for some specialists (which I ended up not getting). After 10 min, the assistant came back in the room and announced that Dr. Siksay only had so much time to see each patient and that I needed to focus on the most important of my concerns and just discuss those. My mouth dropped open with the utter rudeness of this!! I am in no way an overtalker or energy vampire of any kind and did not deserve to be spoken to this way! My only guess is that the health care systems are being swamped now by new patients because of health care reform, so they are tightening up the time allotted to each patient. Still, as the current popular song goes, "Why you hafta be so rude?" I will go back to Dr. Siksay and give her another chance, but if things haven't changed, I will be looking for a new pcp. read more

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Siksay (pronounced six-eye), and she was so good, I had to let all my fellow Yelpers know about her! She's a primary care physician over at Scripps. She was really cool about answering questions and explaining things to me. She's extremely knowledgeable and didn't try to rush me out of the office. I've never had doctor make me feel so at ease. She's not like the usual doctor that makes you feel like you're wasting their time when you ask questions. Dr. Siksay is extremely personable and genuinely cares, you can really tell! On the card I picked up it says her medical interest is in : *Integrative medicine *Dermatology *Women's health *Preventive care *Evidence-based medicine Oh, and the bonus is that if you pay cash, they give you a 40% discount!!!!! Today is the last day Dr. Siksay is my family's primary care doctor. I'm on a work trip out of state and came down with a bad cold turned sinus infection, my bright idea of calling my doctors office to have them send a RX to a local pharmacy was not to be. Scripps coastal may be equally to blame for the multiple layers and hours it takes to ever hear back if at all. My first call went in about 10am, and was told they or she would get back to me, four calls later and no one helping me I was told by an operator at 6:30pm that Dr. Siksay put in my urgent request to seek a local urgent care because I haven't been to see her since 2016.. Thanks a lot!! Ps, she didn't say anything to me two weeks ago when I was in her office with my wife.. All in all, she's ok if you only go in for routine yearly checkups and blood work etc.. If you get sick and need help now, or even same day, good luck, might as well head to an urgent care from the start. read more

Siksay had been my family doctor for years . However her service has steadily declined the last couple years . I think she has to many patients : she has rescheduled my appoint multiple times. Has forgotten to call in my RX, and has forgotten to complete paperwork my kids needs for school. read more

Had a great experience here. I know it's hard for doctors to take the time to see every patient when they are overbooked and underpaid. This women was so genuine and caring. The nurse practitioner is great too. I'm so glad I found this place. Ignore the negative reviews and find out for yourself. I've never understood why people are so negative about a service they know very little about. In the medical field, what a doctor does is based on science and we as a society have turned it into having to sugar coat and treat it like a spa treatment. Get over it. Please ignore any negative reviews. I look forward to visits with Dr. Siksay and have never had a more caring, compassionate doctor. Maybe she does not have the time to shoot the breeze and is more likely to cut to the chase, but there is nothing wrong with efficiency in medicine. The last thing I need is a doctor that does not share her knowledgeable opinions about the best treatments for my conditions. Had a first visit with Dr. Siksay today & I must say that she is a very impressive doctor! I brought in numerous past records of tests & medical history and her recall of all that was presented plus all that I had mentioned to her throughout the appt was extraordinary! I have been to a number of fine doctors in the past, however I have never encountered one who was as focused as Dr. Siksay. Dr. Sicksay is as good as it gets. She is not only extremely intelligent, but she has an excellent bedside manner. She always responds and gets back to me and never brushes me off. Best most competent doctor I have ever had! I always get a little anxious waiting in the room to be seen and as soon as Dr. Siksay walks in, her positive and warm energy calms me down. She is very thorough and invested in my care plan and the outcome. She spends time listening to my concerns then she explains what is happening to my body and gives me the best solutions, which isn't just writing a script for unnecessary medications. Dr. Siksay is the greatest. Another doctor had recommended many tests so I saw Dr. Siksay for a 2nd opinion. She let me know that the tests were going to cost me a TON of money and were mostly unnecessary. Dr. Siksay provided me with the help I needed and it turns out she was correct about the tests. It's hard to describe in words as to how wonderful Dr. Siksay really is. My elderly parents have experienced the care of numerous physicians but none of them even come close to as how caring, loving and knowledgeable Dr. Siksay is; she treats my parents as if they are hers. My first intro to medicare and to Scripps. Dr. Siksay was brisk, rude, got really mad when I refused unnecessary tests and basically ran out of the room after she dismissed me. Now what do I do? I am NEVER going back to that place. I can't change until October and still am trapped at Scripps until January. I got medicare advantage to save money, my diabetes is out of control and I don't have a doctor. By the way, the "diabetes educator" kept harassing me so I didn't see them either. What is up with these gestapo tactics? Siksay kept talking over me, interrupting me...no communication whatsoever. Seemed she thinks all patients are stupid and only she knows anything. read more
