This is our go-to pizza place in town. What you get seems to be pretty consistent and it's pretty tasty. Not too much sauce. It's cooked enough (I cannot stand undercooked cheese on pizza). Wings aren't bad either- large and fairly crispy. If I had one complaint, it would be customer service. They're very busy- I can understand that and can't fault them for it but wait times can be really long, even when you order for pick up. I've had delivery pizzas take 2 hrs to arrive (though they did give it to me free for waiting so long). When you go for pick-up, you'll notice it's somewhat of a dive, but not enough to turn us off. read more

The food was exactly what I expected! The pizza sauce was very good...not too sweet, and the amount of toppings was actually generous compared to others. Yes, the pepperoni is greasy, but that is the way good WNY pizza is! I wouldn't have it any other way!! The wings could've been crispier but still above par. The subs were also actually very good. Some reviews have not been good so I was wary of ordering...but if you are looking for authentic Buffalo style thicker crust pizza and wings this place will be more than satisfactory for you!!! read more

If I could give less stars I would. I used to love this place and recommend it to everyone, but recently it's been really trashy and bad service. My food has been burnt, oily, or just not fresh. I am looking for a great place for pizza near Sunset Bay. Marias was nothing special to me. The crust is thick, and the sauce is difficult to taste, so it really was bland. The slices were quite large. We also ordered wings which appeared quite small, but we're actually very meaty. They were crispy. We ordered medium. Every time I try to call and order nobody answers the phone and when they do staff is always rude. Even when I walk in the people don't even acknowledge you and they're right there at the cash register don't say hi I will be right with you if they're busy and leave you standing there awkwardly for a good 5 minutes sometimes. Always ask for extra crispy wings and they're literally NEVER even just crispy. The people that work there need to learn costumer service skills because they definitely don't have it. read more

First time ordering from Maria's. Pizza and wings - very greasy pizza but tolerable after blotting it with paper towels. Ordered extra crispy wings/medium. Received soggy wings drenched in hot sauce. Non-edible in this household. Called to let them know because, yes, mistakes happen. I explained about the wings and the person replied with...."that was me. Sorry." That was it - no mention of replacement or even full/partial credit. So a double order of wings in the trash and no refund - last time we order from there. read more

Upon walking inside, you realize that the actual restaurant looks run down and the outside isn't much better, looking like a scuzzy motel of sorts. I came with a friend and we ordered a large half pepperoni half Hawaiian pizza that we had to wait 60 minutes for. The food itself, aside from the wait time, was okay at best and sub-par in earnest. This was the greasiest pizza I had consumed in a while, the pepperoni half of the pizza oozing with oil from the bottom of the crust. The Hawaiian half was more to my liking due to not having said problem. The cheese they use is obviously on the cheap side too, as it drags off the pizza when you bite into it, but that's the least of my worries. If you like to waste your life away in a greasy-spoon-like eatery where the bathroom sink is somewhat detached from the wall and bugs fly around the kitchen area for oily pepperoni pizza, then this is the place for you. I would not return or recommend Maria's to anybody looking for a good pie. read more

I absolutely love Maria's pizza. I think the taste is wonderful and I prefer it over anything else nearby . However management needs to step up. The building is disheveled and not taken care of . I no longer eat inside of the restaurant because of how dirty it is whenever I go in . I know better than to order delivery because it won't come for at least two hours. I used to frequent for two slices but I don't for the following reasons . 1. I've received too many undercooked slices 2. I've had employees cash me out and then inform me that it would be half an hour after I've paid . 3. Many times when I call in an order they don't answer the phone. 4. Often employees , few in particular are always very miserable . There is an older blonde women and a few gentlemen who have taken my order who are always friendly though . I love this pizza but If anything it's a hassle to eat here . If management would put time , effort and money into this building and place an importance on customer service I would give this building 5 stars! read more
