In both cases the staff were helpful and professional, providing information in English (my native language) when possible. I felt confident and assured with their proficient attention.

It was too late to book a Dr. S office by the time we docked so it was off to the ER . Staff in the ER were the rudest people I have ever met!(except for the sweet lady at the front desk) we waited almost 3hrs. 5 people came in with complaints that were on par with my husband's sinus problem. All were taken in almost immediately. When I was finally able to question one of the medical staff she responded that there were more serious issues that needed to be seen, and we would just have to wait! Nope lady and we walked out ! Wish I could give it negative 5 stars !!! The one star was only so I could post the review!!!

Unfortunately I had the pleasure of having my son in this hospital. My husband and I joke now…read morecalling this place "the hell house" but that exactly how it felt being there. I was admitted to this hospital for low amniotic fluid and was told to stay there until my son was born... The staff of 6a (the maternity ward) was the worst I have ever experience with medical "professionals". After having my son I had awful postpartum cramping (the pain was unbearable) and I was offered a paracetamol which did nothing. I asked for a hot compress for the cramps and was told no. I then asked for SOMETHING for the pain.. literally anything... the nurse threw a paracetamol at me shut off my lights and walked out. I never in my life have received such awful care. I do have to say the staff in labor and delivery ward was awesome though, my midwife made me feel so comfortable and the birthing experience a good one. The nurses in the premie ward were also great and I felt comfortable with them caring for my son. Its a shame that 6a was so awful that I will do everything In my power to avoid this hospital from now on. The treatment ruined the whole birth experience for me and I actually have anxiety just thinking about another stay there. I was hoping to have a good experience in Germany with my birth but it was a nightmare because of 6a! BEWARE if you plan on having a baby at the trier Mutterhaus make you stay with 6a as short as possible.
