Her "Taxdome" web portal is an improvement which allows us to see past year tax returns and documents we have uploaded. Our past CPAs did not offer easy access to our filings and data. Her attorney is a close friend of hers, and she uses ALOT of attorney time, and is very demanding. In my personal experience, we have no privacy or dignity left after working with her. She pays herself and her attorney with the money of my 8 year old twins, 1 of which has cerebral palsy and Autism and will need life time care. If you question her accountings she charges more. If you object in court, she charges more, she uses her attorney at $200/hr all paid for by the children. Both trustee and her attorney are very expensive. I am greatly concerned that by the time she is removed her fees will have absorbed all the money my special needs children nearly died for. She is paid for her time, out of the account of a brain injured child. My review is based off 5 years experience working with this company. I don't do them myself because they're always so complicated -- I have a mortgage in another state, and some other weird shit going on, so I'd rather someone else handle it who knows what they're doing. Steve definitely knows what he's doing. And the best thing is, he comes to you, not the other way around. So that's why even though my husband and I live in the Bay now, we still use Steve in Sacramento for our yearly returns. We come to Sac to visit friends and while we're there, we just meet up with Steve at a Starbucks or Panera or something and bam, within 15 minutes we're on our way and The Man is appeased for another year. When we did still live in Sac though, Steve would come to our house and take care of everything right there. Definitely give him a call! His rates are very reasonable and actually way cheaper than H&R Block. Plus, H&R Block doesn't come to you. Oh! And he's available on weekends and evenings too!
