The service for the B&B and the restaurant and bar was spot on and it was such a nice little place with great interior, clean, well-decorated en suite bedrooms. ROOM: Great size, nice en suite, nicely furnished, clean bed linen, towels, etc. TV worked and there was a nice little refreshment tray with choice of coffee grounds for a 2-cup cafetiere, teabags, instant coffee and hot chocolate and nice biscuits. FOOD: The food was really good quality and there was a great range on offer on the menu (see my pics) for both breakfast choices and evening meals. The restaurant was in a separate adjacent room to the pub so it was less busy and more comfortable. For our evening meal, we ordered a Fishmonger's board to share (smoked trout, smoked salmon, peeled Atlantic prawns and beer-battered fish goujons) - it was delicious and there was enough for at least 3 people to share! For our mains, we ordered the 8oz sirloin steak and a mushroom open ravioli - both of which were well cooked and tasted great! BAR/PLACE: The bar was lively so beware if you're staying over the weekend and want early nights. When booking, I would suggest you ask for a room on the second floor. We were directly over the bar and the noise was gone by 1am and it wasn't so bad. There was also ample room to sit outside. There's a children's play area too. There's also a function room which has a mini dance floor - perfect for birthday parties.

Very nice traditional pub atmosphere with nice small town feel. There drink menu wasn't bad either from what I remembered. It's a perfect spot to get away from it all when in North Wales. As an American it's one of those places you can retreat to and not be found just to rejuvenate. Good location, good service, and good people.
